Strategy

This quest re-lives the spirit of Robo, and the idea is basically the same.

Survive the 30 minutes, killing all waves of monsters which provide experience (EXP). In the past, the EXP obtained from killing monsters was often greater then the bonus for winning the KQ itself (depending on the level you enter KQ), but this has since been altered, so that winning the KQ provides significant more EXP.

Notes for killing Great Spider : The Mini Spiders he spawns are much more worrisome then the Great Spider himself. Their individual damage is weak (100-200 on a low def cleric), but tens of them spawn at a time. They will IMMEDIATELY make a beeline for the Mages who toss out Novas and Infernos. You have two options: Like in Robo, have a runner grab aggro and run them around. Or, you can crazily try to keep everyone alive and take out the mini spiders first (This risks not being able to kill Great Spider).A recommended approach for killing Giant Spider (if you all choose to) is to have everyone get into an AoE circle around Giant Spider and for the fighters to use Devastation, Mock, and Demoralizing Hit while the Mages and Archers use their AoEs. Clerics will heal party members as needed. This approach keeps the mobs Giant Spider spawns inside the ring taking a lot of damage, quickly killing them.

Upon successful completion of the KQ, ore will spawn for thirty seconds before the player is transported back to Uruga.
