Fighter/Cleric/Mage/Archer Pages
Do we also have the skills for Gladiator, Knight, Sharpshooter, Ranger, Wizard, or Warlock? Just wondering so that i could maybe make pages like the ones for Holy Knight and Guardian?

Thread made, I just hope people have better memory then me.
Thanks for replying, Though I know that Outspark as a company really has a small amount to do with the game, They just support the servers here in the U.S, It's Korea, Where the game originated, That all the changes are being made, As for the info on those three articles i made, I need to request that the rest of the previous and current staff be listed there as well, For historical purposes. If you can give me a shove in the right direction as to where i can find a list of all the previous and current GM's, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wiki Updates
I don't see a point to making a new section for this, so I'll modify this one. There is additional information being collected concerning the new quests, found here. As for the quest list, is their an explanation as to why you find breaking the levels into subsections under the specific level sections unacceptable? Triumph Talk
- What good would creating subsections for each level do? Convenience? But the list is used as occasional reference anyway, with each quest not taking up very much vertical space - unless you make it a hobby scrolling down (you probably do), you won't need subsections. Apart from that, subsections give a long index at the top... Quest List is already uber long. I'd fragment it rather than elongate it. Icy

- Considering it takes only 1 click to go to a section of 10 levels, and at most a few Space key/Wheel Down actions to get to a display of most if not all the quests available at any particular level, now with alternating colours, I feel that your consideration merely breeds laziness. I suspect that your target audience being most likely people who frequently look at that page are only those who update it. Icy

Possible Duplicate Entries
Use your discretion on this one. Scrolls and Scroll Production are nearly identical in terms of content. A merge, perhaps? The former includes the effects of the scroll in question, whereas the latter is more neat, but is less specific. Triumph Talk
- Look at the Discussion page for Scrolls, I experimented with a table there. IMO Scrolls will be just about scrolls; a link will be placed directing at Scroll Production for anything related to it (same thing applies to Potions, Enhancement_Stones, and so on...) because the content in a page should be relevant to the title, and information regarding scroll production should not need to be repeated in Scrolls. Scrolls serves well as the destination of hot-links to any kind of scrolls, so it should stay. Icy Talk

These values are the same for all classes; I suggest the removal of those scarce level-up Exp. data from those stats tables, and put them in one place. I am missing some values around level 60, though.

Re: Export/Import
"Changing an edit summary is cumbersome and requires importing (hence this has to be enabled on the wiki and the user needs to have that user right): export the page with history, delete the page, make the change in the xml file, and import it again. To change the edit summary of the current revision one can also export the page without history, delete the page, restore it except the last revision, make the change in the xml file, and import it again.
The import log shows the import of the page, with user name, date, time, and number of revisions. The deletion log shows the deletion and, if applicable, restoration, with user name, date, and time. The "View and restore deleted pages" feature shows deleted revisions. There is no easy way (like a diff) to see what changes were made. In the case of multiple deletions and imports or restorations it is not recorded which revisions existed when in the regular page history, so it is not possible at all to know what was changed in the last delete/import operation."

More research needed
ok, this is just going to be a list of things I need research on that I am not sure how to go about.
- Monster Types
- Defense, M. Defense, Damage. How these effect your ability to fight.
- Enhancements - What type of stone does what + amount.

Question about skill pages.
Hi, Icy.
I'm new to this wiki and think its a great idea, but so far its not incredibly helpful for me. The reason for that is because when typing in, for instance, the Cleric skill Bash in the search bar, it came up with no pages. I later found that the cleric skills are listed under Cleric Skills but I think it would be better if it was changed to something such as, The Cleric Skills page being a link to every cleric skills something such as the way this is set up http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Monk_skills. And then putting each cleric skill in its own separate page with tables etc in it such as http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Air_of_Enchantment.
I was curious if I was allowed to make such a change?

Do you have a order that you would like to see the Zones in? I'm thinking Alphabetical, City Zones (Roumen, Sand Hill, Elderine, Uruga, then all other zones) or just run straight down the Zone Dump on my talk page.

Should it be Cities (Roumen, Sand Hill, Elderine, Uruga), Basic Zones (Sand Beach, Forest of Tides, Sea of Greed, ...), Caves (Echo Cave, Windy Cave, Golden Cave), Dungeons (LS, Concealed Peak, ...), Abyss/Battle Zone, Specials (OX Field, Wedding Zone, Guild Tournament)? ParserFunctions extension

Would you consider adding the ParserFunctions extension to this wiki? This would add more flexibility and power to the way that templates can be used. Specifically, I have some ideas about useful ways to parameterise repeated sections through the use of templates that should improve the consistency of wiki pages.
For a couple of examples of more complex templates I have written use the ParserFunctions, see:

ParserFunctions is a stable and well-established extension, safe enough that it is used on Wikipedia itself. :-)
If you are amenable, but unsure of how to add an extension, I can guide you through the (very simple) process since I'm a wiki administrator elsewhere myself.

- Neither Triumph nor I has direct access to the /wiki/ files. Also, I have been told that it is not viable to upgrade the wiki backend (1.6) due to compatibility with the hooks for vbulletin. The said extension requires 1.7. Entropy has access to the files - if you can assist in improving the version/extensions, then that's great, because as the templates are now, one can't employ any conditionals. - So if the sticking point are the vBulletin parser hooks, perhaps I could update the underlying PHP code that governs those hooks. Then that allows the wiki version to be updated, and all the additional benefits that entails (including the possibility of adding this extension).

Guides

- Thanks for the reply, but maybe I should have made my original question clearer. I meant to ask if there is a decided or desired layout for the Class-sections and their respective class-guide sections.
- The class sections look like they have somewhat of an intended layout with a starting description of the class as taken from OS, with optional banner (as seen in the Cleric section)
- Below this are the links to the Class-Guide, Class-Skills, Statistics-Guide and class leveling-guide. To the right would be a picture of the class and below would be the relevant class-information as divided into relevant sections. (I am basing this off the Archer class-section) I'd like to know if this is how the other three classes should be set, or if it should look more like the barer Mage and Fighter sections with links to the relevant content?
- Out of the class-guides section, the Mage's looks like the most complete/best. Should it be taken as an example for the other class-guides?

Protected Pages
I noticed while wandering, That some pages are protected entirely, and unable to be editted, Among them was the page Guild Master Lump Why is this? I could easily get all the info and an image to make this page work.

- Icy, she was correct with what she said. These pages are protected due to reoccurring spam on them. Spam Bots had obtained those pages and started filling them full of spam and so to prevent this the page was made blank and locked in that state. Gandalfa82 16:58, 17 April 2009 (CDT)
