If...

this article continues to lack details pertaining to guild wars, I shall move it under the name Guild Management. Icy 10:01, 8 March 2009 (CDT)

Can't believe that was missing =.= (√)
On it Lvramire 11:35, 9 March 2009 (CDT)
I think Icy wants to keep the Guild War information off this page, That was the reason for the If statement I believe. (×) I could be incorrect about this though. (√) Gandalfa82 17:59, 9 March 2009 (CDT)
Now that I read it again, I'm not sure. Though based on the subsection-heading "If", I thought we were supposed to add info on GWs, and if there was none forthcoming that there would be a separate article.(√) Lvramire 23:50, 9 March 2009 (CDT)
I wanted to move it under a name that best describes the article. My suggestion quoted the lack of information regarding guild wars. Icy 08:30, 11 March 2009 (CDT)

Master/Master glitch

[1]

When all the members of a guild leave, The deletion of the guild will be scheduled in 7 days, But the guild cannot be abandoned without a master staying. If someone becomes a master of an empty guild, They cannot quit the guild, And cannot give the status to anyone else because of the guild's deletion schedule.

Someone clarify the preceding statement please.

Icy 14:33, 10 March 2009 (CDT)

When the Master leaves a guild without electing a new Master the Master Rights will be transferred to the highest Ranking member. If more then one member fall under this ranking then the oldest member (for time in the guild) will receive the Master Rights. When the Master and all other members leave the guild then the last member to leave will acquire the Master Rights and the guild will be set for scheduled deletion in 7 days. Once there are no other members for the Master Rights to default to then the Master can not leave the guild. If the Guild is scheduled for deletion then the guild can not be disbanded. The last member to hold the Master Rights will be stuck in the guild for this reason.

Best I can make of it, but not sure if that is correct. And that still needs cleaning up. Gandalfa82 17:31, 11 March 2009 (CDT)

It still doesn't make sense. The last person, as expected, get dumped with the Master title. They are effectively the master.
  • Why is the guild automatically scheduled for deletion? Is it?
  • I was under the impression that Master cannot leave the guild and can only disband it, and if the Admin kicks the Master, the guild will lack a Master.

Icy 20:54, 11 March 2009 (CDT)

It contradicts itself in so many ways. What/Who is the source of the info. Maybe they can clarify it?

Guild Wars

Guilds that choose to enable the option at their creation may take part in Guild Wars. (reword this?) Any Guild may declare on any other that has enabled it. There is no restriction on time or place, participants can fight in any map, at any time.

What happens in a Guild War

  • An Admin or the Guild-Master must first find the guild they wish to war on the guild list. You can only declare on one guild at a time, but there is no limit on the number of guilds that can simultaneously declare on a single guild.
  • Once the guild's name has been found, the Master or Admin declares war on that guild. An announcement pops up in the center of all guild member's screens, both the members of the guild that declared the war and those who were declared on. The announcement states the name of the guild who declared/who was declared upon.
  • There is a (5?)-minute period of time that follows the declaration of a war. The names of member's of the opposing guild/s appear in red, though they are still un-targetable. This period of time is for preparing for the war and assembling your Guild-members.
  • Once the (5?)-minutes elapse, members of the opposing guild/s become targetable. Every time you kill a member of an opposing guild, you receive a number of points The tally of points is shown in the Guild-Menu and whichever guild has the most points at the end of the War wins.

Notes

  • There is currently no reward or added function for Guild Wars. However, currently unimplemented Titles may be gained for winning successive Guild-Wars.
  • Characters not in the warring guilds are unable to target War-participants as per normal Map limitations. However, Clerics not in the warring guilds can Heal and buff those involved in the war. This is generally regarded as dishonorable and as outside interference.
  • Recruiting new members is disabled for the duration of the war for the guild who declared. The declared-upon guild however, can still recruit.
  • After declaring a War, the declaring guild cannot declare another for an (hour?) (Does this apply to both guilds?)

Very rough, feel free to vet. Lvramire 10:19, 12 March 2009 (CDT)
