Outspark Staff and ranks

I have submitted a few whole pages explaining the various types of Staff, Including: GM's, CL's, And CSR's. It's not much, But it gives the reader a basic idea of what each title does, And who to go to for any specific questions or info.

If i did wrong, let me know.

Skill Tables

I will input all the data in the skill tables that have already been updated to the new 'Mage' format. (eg - I have already completed/will soon complete all the missing-values in the Archer skill-section that have already been formatted) I however do not know enough to alter the existing tables.

You might want to change your to-do list to say Format Cleric/Fighter/Mage character-guides like Archers instead of Format Cleric/Archer/Mage character-guides like Archers Joshbl56 16:48, 3 March 2009 (CST)

Missed that xD Thanks. Lvramire 22:45, 3 March 2009 (CST)

Questions/Random Inquiries

- Monsters page: Overview - As of right now this is not a standard. We like the idea but as you say it will be a pain to get up and running fully. Our monster pages still need a log of work and due to that we are backing off of this idea and leading onto the idea of just getting the information in the page so we can later come back to them for more detailed touch ups like this. If you want to do it go ahead we do like the idea and plan to have something like that later on. Just keep the information there more like an encyclopedia instead of a short story. - The Guild's page has nothing linking to it. Dunno who to ask about that. It might get completed a little faster if more people could easily see it and add to it, though it seems relatively complete. I'm not sure about this, I'll see if I can get a link to it on the main page. Gandalfa82 19:51, 8 March 2009 (CDT)

- Current Events Page is updated as Major changes are made. Most of the stuff Icy, Triumph, or Myself are working on will not be added to the Current Events page because we are working on them and will overwrite the whole page when we are done. That page is used to direct others to give them a place to start if they wish to help out with the Wiki. Gandalfa82 19:51, 8 March 2009 (CDT)

- Other questions have been answered by Icy, if the question was not answered good enough for you then please rewrite it on my talk page and I will get you a more clear answer. Gandalfa82 19:51, 8 March 2009 (CDT)

- If you need anything else feel free to let me know :) Gandalfa82 19:51, 8 March 2009 (CDT)

Titles for limited-resource articles

Sure thing, I appreciate being so welcomed to help, However, Is there any place where i can get the .Jpg format of the monster pictures? It'd help to have the pictures of the monsters in some of the more bare articles.

Well i suppose i can work with it, But this might call for some actual screenies, Luckily
I know some really good photoshoppers that can spruce the images up enough for Wiki use.

Class pages

Here's my thought on the structure:

--+ [[Class]]
  |-- Link to gameplay guide including skill recommendations //top of the pages links
  |-- Link to skills data //top of the page links
  |-- Link to leveling suggestions //top of the page links
  |-- Description, general information on the class
  |-- Character stats on this page itself [big neat table, data will be collected by a form some time later]
  |-- See also
--+ [[Gameplay Guide]]
  |-- Link to class main page, skills data and leveling suggestings //top of page links
  |-+ Character building
    |-- Stats
    |-- Equipments
    |-- Skills
  |-+ Strategy (practical, no OS description jargon here)
    |-- Party play
    |-- Solo play
  |-- See also
--+ [[Skills data]]
  |-- top of page links
  |-- data dump
  |-- See also
--+ [[Leveling suggestions]]
  |-- top of page links
  |-- communal data dump
  |-- See also

This would be a departure from current form, which has barely any content in the Class main pages. The structure I propose will warrant the removal of a few links from the main page, which you will like. I would like to place more into those, since they are on the main page afterall. On the other hand, the current level-up statistics pages are rather tatty and I intend to do something about it - the easiest way I can think of, is to write a form and urge players to send in information which will then be compared and processed. Such data collection should be easier on the forums, but that's not a priority.

Skills data page - Mage Skills is a good example. As for guides, Mage Guide has a lot of content, though not necessarily in the right order.

I believe most of it is descriptive or organisational changes, so don't stress yourself too much over the layout.

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know. I can get started on rough guides sometime soon (weekend coming up) so I should have some time. I can't help much with actual in-game content as I don't have Fiesta installed but can draft information and rough outlines. Was kinda disappointed with the the class-sections in the wiki the first time I looked, so I've always wanted to help change them. Thanks for the reply Lvramire 15:51, 25 March 2009 (CDT)
Now this is just a comment in passing - funny how the the wiki is maintained by people who don't actually play the game. Icy 20:25, 25 March 2009 (CDT)
The circle is complete. lvramire 22:05, 25 March 2009 (CDT)
That is because those of us who still play Fiesta spend time in the game instead of doing the work, except me who runs the game on one monitor while working on wiki in another. Gives me something to do during the downtime.
I spent a total of 400 playing hours in-game, spread over 4 months. Won't gain extra knowledge of game mechanics from more game time. I spend my time educating myself. However, the wiki lets one show their organisational freak side. Icy 21:19, 26 March 2009 (CDT)

The Archer page seems to match the layout pretty well already. I'm going to go ahead and base the other 3 on that. Question though, when it says character stats on the layout^ for class pages, does that mean the big table with all the stats for levels until 89, or does it mean only the base level one stats? I'm also assuming that "Link to gameplay guide including skill recommendations" means skill recommendations will be on the guide-page, not on the class page itself? lvramire 09:54, 27 March 2009 (CDT)

Gameplay guide, skills suggestions, equipments suggestions, strategies, etc -> Guide
Where to grind, etc, clutter, clutter -> Leveling suggestions
Class stats = table -> Class page
Skill data & description -> Skills
Equipment stats, information -> Link to relevant page in the Items section
