I tried this early on when my character started running and unfortunately, it didn't make a difference - it kept running. :-(
Now everytime I relog (I've tried at least four times so far) I automatically respawn in the same place (the sky, off-map - similar to the original poster). Hope the "mover trick" works...

Weird, I thought I mentioned in my initial post that I tried jumping, but I end up stuck there in the sky (similar to the original poster's 6th screenshot).
Not sure what you mean by "returning to the map", though - as far as I could see, I was "off map" somehow (it says it's loading Elderine but once I'm in, it's just blue all around me and the map in the upper right hand corner is all black - again, similar to the original poster's problem). Also, I'm not sure what you're saying I will find "near where it hit my character" - do you mean: "the spot of doom", the "map" or the "client"? It's not very clear from your last sentence what "it" is referring to... :-)
I'll try logging in again today to see if it boots me to Roumen like it did the original poster and failing that, the "mover trick".
Thanks again!

Basically, you need to stop your character while it's still moving on the map. The poor cleric pictured in the series of screenshots did not do so, and ended up 'standing' on nothing. Once the character is floating this way, if you jump, they will fall through because there is no floor to fall onto.
By 'returning' I mean performing re-login twice: once to return to an empty map, twice to return to Roumen. Then you'll travel to Elderine. Then, you'll move your character to the very same spot they were standing on, where they started to move off. Tap the directions in the vicinity and you should find your character moving off again.
This spot of doom I am referring to is a certain location on the map that is about the size of a mushroom house, on which your character will spontaneously travel in the south-west direction on top of all objects along the way. If you move your character into that spot, they will start to move. If you then promptly move your character, they will return to their static position, but your character will always veer off on their own if you move them there. This spot will change every time you restart the client, and appears to drift slowly even when you're next to it and messing with it.
If you look at my images, I opened a vendor next to a spot that I discovered; a while later, I checked on it, and lo and behold Fission was struck.
By the way, once the character is at the edge of the map, there is no returning. You're guaranteed a twice-respawn off to Roumen.

Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to clarify, Icy! I swear, these bugs/glitches are a work of art - taking on a life of their own!

Yeah, Runaways happen when you click off of fiesta and onto a different window, Usually.
Just keep Fiesta fullscreen of in it's smallest state of you are doing something else, It usually prevents it.
