Wow. Just... wow. I am disappointed - with myself, partially. Have we not done enough to gain your (and by "you" I mean anyone who thinks GG has influence over FF) trust? Have we not ever tried to make FF a better place? Have we not held events for FF? Have we not made threads to MAKE people tell us what is wrong with FF so we can change it? Have we not tried? Have we not been seen to put a single effort into this forum? Have we not warned our own guild members? Have we not banned our own guild members? Why must you concentrate on the bad things, and not look at this from another perspective and look at what we've tried to do?

I know this site isn't perfect. I know the mods (including myself) have a lot to learn. Which is why we have a Site Suggestions and Feedback subforum. We even created a Talk with the Mods section. Why won't anyone use it?

I want to say this - but it is ultimately up to the reader themselves whether they take my word for it or not - G____G has absolutely NO influence over FiestaFan. Absolutely NO influence, I tell you. If you want, any of you can send Entropy a pm and ask him. Ask him, because he is the administrator and he is not in G____G. Do it, please, if it really concerns you.

If you get the impression that only - and ONLY - the mods run the forum, then may I point out that you are forgetting an administrator. Though he may not post much, he is active on this forum and keeps our staff forum under watch. If we had done anything wrong, anything unsuitable, anything out of line - he would step up and speak up.

If you do not trust us, at least trust Entropy. If you do not choose to trust Entropy, then I am sorry, I am not sure what I can do for you. No, I am not going to force you to agree with me. But, I'd say that if you don't have faith in the people who manage this forum, then it is really hard for us to help you. If you don't trust us, there will always be this barrier between us, and no matter what we do, you will find a reason to not like it.

I've said this a zillion times but it seems like it never gets through. Just wait till this forum grows. No, I can't guarantee this forum will become very large in a short about of time, but eventually it will slowly grow, and more people will come in. How many can a guild recruit? We cannot possibly invite the whole forum.

Like A_Forever said - ask your guildies to join us! Ask them to post here! If it makes you feel that G____G is "dominating" then why not ask your friends to come here? Help expand FiestaFan. Sitting there won't complaining won't do anything. Nothing. at. all. What can the mods do? We mod this forum, we try our best to make it up to the standards that our FF members want - not GG wants. We've been trying to do this. We hold events. You may say that majority of the GG is there when we hold events and it feels "dominating", but we can't help it if no one else turns up! Of course it would look like it's a GG thing if no one else stays around!

Look at the posts Ralath made. He mentioned Innocence and Lykainion. I saw it too. I could say they are one of the other "guilds" that like to hang around here. Once the site grows, more and more guilds come in, GG would be nothing.

As a moderator, I'd like to say: guilds have NOTHING to do with the election of mods. Let me see, Keetos selected the first mods: fullback and Rightclaw (the currently active ones). Rightclaw does not even play Fiesta. He only has access to our private guild forums because a long time ago, he was in GG when he was active. I can tell you that he doesn't even post much in the forum, only random comments here and there in threads.

Then the second wave of mods came in - and the community had handed in nominations. It was NOT a poll vote. These mods ended up to me AndyB and I. AndyB was and is not in GG back then. If he had been active till now, then all the mods won't be in GG. But it is too bad that real life took him away from us.

The third wave of mods - Spirit and Yosei. I took part in choosing the mods. We took nominations from members. We encouraged members to throw in their nominations to us - which I can say that the majority (but that I mean at least 90% of the nominations from memory), included Spirit and Yosei's name. It is up to ALL of FF member's responsibility to throw their votes in. Even back then, Yosei was in Rush. I personally wasn't even close to Yosei back then - you can choose to believe this, or not. If you don't, there is nothing I can do. We had no idea Yosei was gonna disband Rush. Rush members moving to GG had nothing to do with moderation of this forum. Again, your choice to believe us - or not. If you don't, not sure how I can persuade you to. I don't think I can.

Again - choosing mods have NOTHING to do with guilds. If we choose another mod outside of GG - then it just shows that we think guilds and moderators have an relationship. No, we are not doing that. Guilds mean nothing to us when we choose moderators. I am sure Keetos/Entropy wouldn't have allowed us to select the moderators if they were not up for the job. When we select mods, we do look at whether they have pass moderating experience or not. Sure, it'd be a bonus, but we don't only look at that. We look at how active they are on the site - hence maybe the top posters? We look at how well they can mingle with the majority of FF members at the time.

As a G____G member I'd like to say: What the hell. We got nothing to do with how FF runs. Tbh, we don't really care. I mean we do. But we just care about it as much as you guys do. None of the GG members tried to butt into our moderator actions. Trust me, or don't. Again - it is your choice to believe me or not.

It starts in MoS, so it will go off topic for sure. Had you put it in Site Suggestions and Feedback, we will not let it go off topic. That was your very own choice.

Anyway. I am gonna say this again.

Have faith in us, please. If you don't, I am sorry, I am not sure what we can do. Tell us what you want to be done. Disbanding GG was not an option. What else? How about what A_Forever suggested and get more people in?

I am not sure why anyone is "afraid" to voice their opinions. It is not like we can come and punch you in the face. It is not like just GG will come warring you in game because GG has nothing to do with how FF runs. Even if GG wants to, it's not like we can since we're pretty low levels ourselves.

Again - I keep repeating this. Got a problem with FF? Chuck it into Site Suggestions and Feedback or Talk with the Mods! It's been done before. Remember how people wanted more Arcade games? They talked about it in SS&F. They got it. Someone wanted a ranting forum before, I believe. They got it. Someone suggested a Freestyle theme in Talk with the mods. They got it. Someone had issues with threads/members and posted in Talk with the mods, they received our help. Use the forums!!!

We cannot guarantee you will get everything you want, but we do try. But we can only do it if you guys open up and tell us. And most importantly - trust us. If you have no faith in us, there is little we can do.

Now this post took me a long time to write and a few more pages have been added since I started the post so it looks like I may be repeating some things. But, I'll post it anyway - repeating or not. I think it is worth the repeat.
