I'm sure the mods will sort out matters involving a guild member if needed.
Though having a non-GG mod is a decent idea. It may loosen the impression that GG is in complete influence over these forums - even just a little if any.

That's all I'm going to say. I feel that whatever I say won't matter at all.

Its not that they are modding from that perspective its just the general situation. Its like booyah said you have a problem with a Mod. I would be uncomfortably talking to another Moderator about it*If I did not know most of them pretty well which I do.* since they are all friends and all from the same guild.

Anyways, with the getting otheres to join...a lot of my friends, for example, don't want to come here, because they don't like how its ran. = I've tried to get them to come here for a long time but they don't like how things are managed and the fan-base behind people here, so they refuse.

Same with nearly all my old guidies... D: Booyah may have been first to really post about it, but he isn't the only person I know who thinks that way.

Okay - guilds are made up of friends, right? At least for most guilds, people invite others they like. And naturally, your friends will have stuff in common with you, right? Some of them also tend to think a lot like you, right? Most of my friends irl think a lot like me. I can't be friends with someone who I disagree with all the time.

That said - I don't see what is so surprising when two people in the same guild agrees with each other. Obviously they are friends - so the chances of them agreeing with each other are pretty large, ain't it?

Not just with G____G - with ANY guild, for that matter. Why would you be in a guild if you keep disagreeing with your guildies? I personally find it hard to get a long with someone that I can't agree with someone all the time. =/

I don't know why you're dissapointed though... and saying that will only make people feel bad for feeling the way they do, which is something I hope you didn't intend to do.

The mods were obviously chosen when FF was smaller than it is today, and since it has grown, new people, new opinions have arised.

I'm sure that if you were to drop back down to 2 mods, and re-open a voting for mods again...

we'd have some other people chosen for the job.

And whether or not YOU see it, others do.

It bothers some people to see the mods only in one specific group.

We understand that NOTHING can come out of the forums for you in game, or magically because you do something here on FF. You have nothing to gain from being in GG, or running the forum.

Our problem is the fact that since new people, and new opinions have arrived... people feel all of the mods don't look at the new opinions as that... opinions...

People can call this my thread, I'll take any flak for this you wanna throw at me, whatever.

Like I told lvra:

"Stand up for what you believe in, even if you're the only one standing."

and I believe that if the people in charge can't judge/act fairly because of their own personal viewpoints...

then something needs to change.

And I honestly doubt that posting something in "Talk with the mods" or "Site Suggestions and Feedback" will do much for an entire population, but more on a 1 - 1 basis. How many people said they had a problem like I do... but only after I started this? How many people will continue in the following days? People like to avoid conflict, meaning they're not going to start it, but if someone else started it, they'll sure join.

Yeah, I can't either. I personally see some of my current friends' personalities in a few GG members. I think we all share some different views with the people we are close to though.

I'm not going to comment on the mod issue. o-o But it sounds like something that really needs to be discussed more as some are concerned.
