The one that stays in my truck is a 22 Beretta. Small, easily concealed, and easy to use. NOTE: I have only ever actually shot it when target practicing - I have never actually shot anyone!!!!!! It is for protection only.

Seriuosly though, the neighborhood that I used to work in, you needed protection. And I used to not carry one, until I was single and one night I was followed home. I was smart enough however to figure out that the guy was following me, so I detoured until I lost him then got my butt home as quick as I could. The next day I called my dad and told him what happened and we went gun shopping. But, I grew up around guns and learned how to use them properly when I was young. So, I am familiar and comfortable with them. I am also a better shot then my husband, lol. Everytime we have ever been out shooting, I always out shoot him.
