PvP KQs
 

You can still get decent exp even if you come dead last in the PvP KQ? I knew I couldn't compete with these fully cashed players so I never bothered to enter it... and I wasn't about to charm up either for it. Maybe I'll try it out when I get the chance next time.

@Blahs: Pretty bad at 80+? That's quite an understatement. >_O One level away from pretty BK and I'm still not that motivated to level.

At level 84 coming in last in the PvP KQ will only net you about 1.85%. At level 75 it nets you 6%. It is better to jump in everyone that you can, simply to give you an extra boost when you can get the most out of it.


I knew I had no chance, so I wouldn't even bother using stones, scrolls, or anything. I would let them kill me. Lay on the ground till my time ran out. Pop up, die again. 6 easiest % I got.
You just have to do like in regular KQs and watch the time, because you get nothing laying on the ground when it ends.

1.85% is better than nothing at that level, that's for sure. That'll be the easiest % in 30min(?) That's how much I'd get in GHS solo... but in KQ I won't lose exp dying and I won't even have to use as many stones. Sounds good.

The only problem i have with doing that is that it completely ruins the pvp kq itself...i mean, free kills. come on. that's not right. That'll screw up the rankings...

Versus capped out level 89s with charms and mights in there actively searching out the lvl 75 mages and clerics that 1 stun and 1 hit kills them? Also, running right past someone who is in their same guild to get to that person.
Or versus people actually double-teaming? One high-level fighter stuns, then stands there and lets the other cleric take the kill, so that the cleric has a chance to win.

The whole entire thing is whacked. I am not adding any more whack to it than it already is. The KQs already have people who plot and plan out way before hand. After about my first 5 actually trying to play fair, I realized what was going on and decided I wasn't wasting my stones on them, but I sure wanted the exp.

Seriously, when they set it up so that a fighter with anywhere from 5K-8K HP goes against a mage with max. 3K HP - How is that any different? THe KQs are already too screwed up to worry about fairness. The top-leveled PKers already have it planned out. Me simply not fighting back is not changing the fact that they are going to kill me anyways.

My way, I don't waste stones. Same results though.

Yup. Though I am a fighter myself I'm a tanker... I probably won't get killed in one or two hits after a stun but I'm not killing anyone myself either. Add on the fact that these axe fighters are fully +9'd... they have more def than me who doesn't have +9 armour. I might stand a chance against the squishies once I get my BK but that isn't going to change my standings either. >_<

Yes, but you are also level 68, with the highest level in your KQ being 69.

Wow... PVP KQ for lvl 75+ is so dark...

I guess the skill / build / (and cash shop obsession) gap between classes various a lot more at higher levels, compare to when it was lvl 35-49....

I never PvP KQ unless I got 3 guidies joing too...I tried so hard to not be last.

I agree that PVP Kq's are impossible to do with all these *I am full SC"Ed fighter with everything +9 I pwn joo and you stfu*.They just run and stun,and an archer like me can't really sruvive 3 chain stuns.....add the fact that there arent any pots and you can't use any scroll X_X

My mage was 6 wins and 1 2nd place and I only ever fully scrolled
but I never charmed up for it LOL. So its possible to do.

O.o im pretty much lvling from pvp kq since im to lazy. you should just see my inv half of it is exp increasers and war rants and set items from pvp kq XD i got 30% at lvl66 from just pvp kqing.. o.o

XD I'm always so confused whenever I go into a pvp kq, mainly cause my guild apparently has a lot of alliances that I don't know of with different guilds and people, I really only tend to go after people who go after me, all about self-defense ^_^ I never win though but it's fun being a low lvl with a hammer in the high pvp kq ^^

except for when you get the hammer and get stunned and die 2 seconds later :ninja:

My fighter was great in PVP.. but my mage was hopeless...

i play as a cleric o.o

though i barely heal since once i get stunned im pretty much screwed XDD

No offense to you but this is PVP not guild war. I understand alliances... just think it shouldn't have any influence in PVPKQ.

I really don't care about the exp, I do them simply because it's so much fun. The first time I was in it my friend Cheryl_Blossom helped me out. It was alot of fun when I got the hammer

You'd be surprised. Guild wars have happened for lesser reasons.

So what's this about getting 6% at level 75 for coming in last? I just finished my first one ever about 5 minutes ago......dead last at L75 obviously.

Not only was it the least fun thing I ever did in this game, but I didn't get anything......no exp. Just 15 minutes of my time spent watching what was basically 2 guilds team up against everyone who was by themselves.

I used up all my quests and such getting to 75 on the understanding that I would get an easy 6% every time i managed to get into one of these...........fuck.

If you have less then 5000 points, you get nothing.



Just run around, avoid dying. Don't just stand there and let yourself die and immediatly respawn.


Also, like all other KQs, you need to be alive to get exp.

^^ What she said. Plus, I did not know about the less than 5000 points, because even getting killed over and over, I have Never managed to get killed THAT many times.

Lie dead, and stay dead... till you're forced up... and yeah get up 5-8 sec before the KQ ends...

Yeah, i got nothing...exp or insignia.

But at least now I know why. Towards the end of it i wasn't even bothering healing after I died, I was just letting people kill me basically. Had no idea i had to have a certain amount of points to get any exp.

EDIT: Ahhhh, much better the 2nd time around. Only died 3 times as opposed to last times 20, lol. Even got the hammer once and scored a few kills. Finished 7th........theres the exp =p

Actually,there are some things in the PvP KQ that make it much more fair than guild war/pvp 1/abyss....

1.You can't party (though you can team.).This means,even if you team with someone,your aoe can still hit him.
2.You can't use ANY POT.Yes,this is prolly the most significant.All Pkers rely on pots to survive,mostly fighters,and in this KQ you only get to use stones and your skills.
3.You cant use any scroll.Even more fair.
4.Clerics cant heal anyone but themselves.basically means,nobody can get outside heal.
