Closed Beta is another word for "Private Testing"

usually, In closed Beta, A set amount of people are invited, Usually through email, Or ads, Depending on the popularity of the game, Closed beta could last as long a 3 stages, (i.e Cb1,Cb2, Cb3)

The point of Closed beta is to collect player input on bugs, Glitches, Or apparent flaws in the game, So the designers can comb through and patch them up, Preparing for the release, The rewards for Closed beta are not usually noted, But in some games, it's usually a title, or an item.

Fiesta Online in America lasted until Closed Beta 2, Where it made it's debut into Open Beta in August.
