Basics
It's simple. Everyone needs money for grinding, skills, armor, weapons, Etc... This list could go on.
However making money is not that hard as you think. I will list a few basic ways to make money in this game.
NPC Selling
The most basic way to make quick cash. Just kill mobs, gather their drops and sell them to NPC shops, simple as that.
Player Selling
Now this takes a bit more time, although you do get more profit. Just set up a shop anywhere in a crowded place, and sell off your wares from mobs.
Basic profit breakdown
Ok i am going to explain how i am so successful at making money and guarantee everyone that if they follow this tip they will be too. This does take some time to get used to but i promise it will work.
First this is what you will need (you can even make a new charater if you need to)
- Stone Production
- Scroll Production
Those 2 production skills are the most popular and you must use that to your advantage. Here is the breakdown of how to do this correctly.
- Step 1*
- Gather all your materials yourself. Do not buy a single one of them in the beginning as this will bring your profits down by nearly 80%
- After your materials have been gathered dispose of the materials you do not need (Such as potion materials and other various gathered materials) to player stores that have the best price better than the npc. If there are no player shops buying certian materials to the npc they go. There are only a few materials you should keep if there are no player stores buying them at that time and they are, Tough meats and spirit fruits. The potion maker's need these so keep them untill you find a player store buying these.
- Make elure. Do not sell this elure, Keep this and all elure you make untill you have reached the skill level where you can make Lix
- Lix - The thing about Lix is the market is alwase open for cheep Lix. It is the middle class enchanting stone and it is also material needed for Xir. Once you have reached the ability to make Lix, Keep making elure and Lix at the same time. Keep this Lix untill you have a hundred or so.
- Selling the Lix - Find the cheepest shop by the blacksmith (Lix is expensive people will try to sell it for 275c but this takes time and lost time is time you could be spending working on the next 100 Lix) Sell this Lix for an outrageously low price. Say the cheepest shop is 275c you sell it for 180c if the cheepest store is 200c you sell it for 135c. Since you payed nothing for these materials and you got experience for the time it took getting these materials this is pure profit and at a price like that it sells within minutes while the competition is still sitting there with a full store and you've satisfied everyone's need of lix. When you open a shop, Open it in clear view with a simple name like "135c lix" or whatever your price is and shout what general place you are and how much your selling it for.
- About Xir - I wouldent recomend making or selling Xir at all Xir is only used for upgrading so no one really needs a massive ammount of this. Unlike lix where people need Lix to make Xir to get a speedy jump in skill points, But this isent about speed this is about profits the more Lix you make the more profit you get so i say keep making lix even after you start making Lix[2] (t2 stone production is totally different and will be explained sometime later when i am not so tired this line will also be removed when i do explain tier 2 stone productions and profit making stradigies from that)
- Making scrolls - a very easy money maker if done right
- Same concept as stone production above. I would sugest you make a good ammount of power and shield scrolls to start. No divine magic scrolls they do not sell. Once you get the proper skill level i suggest making Vitality, Power, Shield and Speed increase scrolls. These scrolls sell best in Eldrine as alot of guild war's go on there and every guildie that doesent have a few buffs will die. Inturn they will buy your outrageousley cheep scrolls. Make sure you are lower than anyone in town, Make sure you are shouting that you are lower than anyone in town and your prices. Scrolls take a little bit longer to sell since they do last for an hour and there are 50 in a stack, But in eldrine at the right time is all up to luck and if you get lucky your scroll's will sell out within 30 minutes fetching you about 5s a stack.
- How to get so many scrolls - Simply save them and sell them in bulk
- Methods to not use - I would never recomend buying anything and reselling it for a higher price (But all in all we all know the people that just bought your stones are going to try to sell them for more thus wasting there time for a small profit making you the winner overall)
- The point - Take full advantage of the popularity of the skills use them to your advantage be ruthless when it comes to selling under price anyone and everyone and someday you will be rich too. (more to come soon)

Tips on making profits
Here are some tips on what to sell and at what prices to get you some profits:
- 1) When you open up your shop to BUY (instead of sell), price your ingredients lower than the product you will sell later on. Though, this already should be common sense.
Ex: I can buy 5c or 6c per spirit fruit AND 7c per Tough Meat, then make HP Pots, and sell them each for 25-35c. (Though I usually do it at 30-33c), and just by that, your 10-11c/ingredients can make up to about 25c profit per HP pot, depending on your price, and if you had 50 HP pots, that's 1s and 250c already! Not the best example, but quick money since HP pots sell pretty fast for me.
- 2) Buy ingredients for a skill you don't have for lower the price you can sell it for. NPCing is what, 3-4c sometimes? Give or take? Well, if you buy say, old dusts for 5c or 6c, then sell them for like 8-11c, you can make some profit there. Though it may be a bit slow, it's still good money if you don't have that skill and don't wanna bother selling erules. (right now, the stone economy is pretty low since everybody has that skill, so I decided to sell the mats and they do sell quick!)
- 3) SAVE! SAVE! SAVE! Yeah, saving money does help. :P Basically save up, don't buy a skill or weapon you don't really really need until you figure you do need it.
- 4) QUEST! In simple terms, (some) quests give you good exp and a reasonable amount of money. Heh.
- 5) Slime KQ -- try it! I think slime KQs give the best prizes (well, this is biased from my own personal experience), but still, KQs in general can give you really awesome prizes. If you do enough slime KQs, you can level really fast and maybe have tons of pre-enhanced weapons or something to sell.
My first KQ I got a +6 wep, then a +5 and then a lot of +2s and +3s. I enhanced them up to +4s and +5s if lucky, and sold it for QUITE a profit altogether. (: Though, haha, this is pretty time consuming if you don't get anything good.
- 6) Grinding during your higher levels -- Again, in simple terms: Good EXP (if you're grinding with the right crowd) and a good or great amount of money when you NPC drops.
- 7) Farming -- Farming herbs or stuff on high-lvled maps can really be helpful when you NPC it. However, it's pretty time-consuming and sometimes you might die, if you get mobbed.
Best way if your feeling strong. If you fight Marlone or King Marlone there's a chance of getting a special weapon (+ i think too) from him. If you ever get these sell them for a HIGH PROFIT. I would recommend level 29 for King Marlone and level 29+ for Marlone. Fighteruser
There's a great spot in AEW (Ancient Elven Woods) that has tons of woods around. The only problem is that if you're too low lvl, someone could drag back a Spider Queen, and kill everyone there. Also, because it's so great, many people get very territorial over it. I'll up date with coords in a minute, but for anyone that's been there, it's in the Red Trumpy zone. booyah8877
- 8) Mining is a great way to make money! If you go to Uruga Golden Cave and mine gold, then sell to NPC you make a great deal of money!
Feel free to add on!
Advanced Methods
Alchemy
The most common choice for money making is Alchemy. Alchemy is divided into 5 portions in Fiesta. Another great way to make money is doing quests for fame and then buying alchemy stones from item merchant Nina in Elderine any level of them will do but to make the best profit you buy level 1 alchemy stones and sell the for 20 copper to 15 copper i sell them for 17 copper each in quantittes of 5 sets of 50. if you sell them for this price yiu will make 850 copper every 50 alchemy stones and if you selll them in quantities of 5 sets of 50 each you will make close to 4 silver be aware the sell very fast.
Potion Production
Potion Production is more difficult and not as often chosen as the Stone Production skill. Potions require at least three materials, and the price most will buy at will be around 20-30c. Vending potions will be difficult, so it is not recommended for those with little patience.
Stone Production
Stone Production is also a very popular Alchemy skill. Required for enhancement, enhancement stones usually bring a decent price. Due to the large number of stones used and the high rate of failure, there will always be a demand for enhancement stones, despite the large number of people taking up the skill.
Material Composition
This skill will require copious amounts of capital. From the beginning, there will be very little profit, if any at all. After a certain point, there will be possibility for profit.
Material Decomposition
Similar to Material Composition, this skill will require capital as well. However, there is profit almost immediately - Tier 2 ingredients can be decomposed into Tier 1 items, which can usual counterbalance the costs for production. A bit more profit can be generated from Material Decomposition over Material Composition, but not much.
Merchanting
Merchanting is buying form other peoples mushroom shops and selling for higher. Now, this may seem like a simple concept (and it can be done in just about any MMORPG) but it is very rewarding. For example, you could buy small things, like mats and elrues, for cheap and sell for profit. But, you can also buy large things, like enhanced high level weapons for cheap and sell for larger profit. This makes a lot of people a lot of money and could get you lots of money in no time!
