==Introduction==
The term "tanking" is used to refer to the person who is taking the hits from any kind of monster (bosses,mobs). It is the job of the tanker to make sure that monsters will not attack anyone else other than themselves via keeping "aggro" (a term which we will get to later). Therefore, because of this most of the time the tanker must have the defense and health necessary in order to survive many hits from monsters so the role of the tanker is usually the [[fighter]]. However, there have been instances where the role of the tanker has been given to other classes, like the [[mage]], because no other effective fighter is available. Furthermore, all the other classes can tank however they are limited to the amount of aggro that they can get.
