It's totally random. I've found one right smack in the middle of the path as well as off on a hill where no one ever goes to. I've had luck finding 2 at MT and at Sea of Greed... you can try there too.

im get one in luminous stone 1, near of the silver slime, well 3 players and me opens the chest, and no pets.
