Treasure Chests

I need to know everything about Treasure chests, as im going to be searching high and low in search of a pet. Hopefully a Kebing.

It's totally random. I've found one right smack in the middle of the path as well as off on a hill where no one ever goes to. I've had luck finding 2 at MT and at Sea of Greed... you can try there too.

im get one in luminous stone 1, near of the silver slime, well 3 players and me opens the chest, and no pets. :(

o.0 I guess it's like super rare right? Haven't seen one yet. Maybe I just haven't been leaving town very often.
