You are I are kinda in the same thought process, that is lumping all religions together. Where we differ is I say we point out the absurdity for all to see instead of not discussing it in fear someone may be "hurt" or "offended".

I love how they totally ignore people when their whole religion is based upon the idea of all of humanity being lied to.

Uhm I'm pretty sure there is lies in almost any religion.
The way I look @ it, I could make lord of the rings into a religion, its a fantasy novel like the bible to isn't it?

It even reads like the Bible. It was like literary medicine. You know it's good for you but it was hard going down.

Yeah. I've read the Hobbit, the Trilogy, the Silmarillion, and the Unfinished Works. I should have problem broken them up a bit instead of back to back. I don't know why I do that. I'll gather up an entire book series and read it, then whine and bitch about it afterward. I did the same thing with Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

i wasnt making fun of it. just pointing out facts about it that are flawed.
Oh, and hrae's made fun of SEVERAL religions, whether it be christianity, islam, or whatever. Trust me, it's not closable.
anyways, this thread's taken a turn to a bashing of sorts instead of a discussion about the malpractices of scientology. i was willing to answer hrae's questions, but this has really kinda disolved into a disrespectful kinda thing, instead of an intelligent debate. ._.

We had the "intelligent" debate in the Deity thread. I might as well "debate" with a schizophrenic on the street. One delusional person is as good as another.
