Scientology Protests

I love how they totally ignore people when their whole religion is based upon the idea of all of humanity being lied to.

Why do you have a problem with Scientology?

A_Forever 09-01-2009 01:07 AM

^Lol.

Why does that make me laugh? No idea.

Mainly the info-blocking. if you leave the church, they'll have your family cut off all ties from you. Tory Magoo, a famous ex-scientologist, lost her husband of 27 years because she left the church.

I've also heard that they get more tax breaks than even other religions.

They've abused their members, physically, mentally, and verbally (All unrepentantly), going to the point of a high-ranking member hitting a member to the point where his ear bled.

If they wanna believe what they're told, it's fine. But the abuses of members is ridiculous.

Why does any religion get tax breaks? I never understood that =o=

some are non-profit organizations, i think. MOST priests dont get payed for what they do, i believe. not entirely sure though. i should look that up some time.

btw, here's tory magoo's channel. if you're curious about my dislike, watch some of these.

Another example:

"He punched me in the face at least ten times and my glasses fell off, I was thrown up against a desk unit, a counter top, and that was the moment right then when I realized I could go no further down than this, to be beaten by the leader [David Miscavige] of my so-called church." - Marc Headley, ex-Scientologist and former Executive Producer at Golden Era Production (production company owned by Scientology), Glosslip April 27, 2008

Doesn't every religion have people who are nutjobs in it? I'm sure you could find similar stories like that about Christianity, Islam, or any other religion.

Loveless 09-01-2009 01:49 AM

And there are always those who follow regardless of what happens to them. Goes with any religion really... nothing new.
