But yeah our uni might work slightly differently.. I think our professors wrote the textbook FOR the course.. rather than the course finding a textbook that would fit the course.. so all our textbooks has to be bought from our uni book shop...

Some things never change - the only textbooks I ever had that weren't written by the Prof were for Literature classes. They would make a slight change every semester in the book and make the previous edition "worthless".
