kk, so those that know me well, know that my stepson plays high school football.
I went to get hubby and I some supper tonight and on the way home, I heard a song that made me sad.
My son's team made it to the playoffs again this year, but we lost out last week. I was mixed about that. Part of me was glad I no longer had to sit outside freezing my bum off, while another part of me was sad that football season was over.
This song made me realize that it was my first Friday in a long time that I was not at a football game. I was listening to it and looked over and saw my pompoms still sitting on my dashboard, and I got sad.
Ever been to a football game? That is a band classic, lol. And our band would really get into their music.
