I have a few questions I would like to ask

1) When was the first Fiesta closed beta held?
How'd it go? Did the times suit you? How longed it take for people to get a good grip on the game?

It was held the summer before the last summer, I was present for both CB1 and CB2 (still got my archer "Closed Beta Tester" tag). The times suited me because like Blahs said, it was 24/7, except for updates and maintenance. As for the grip, it went pretty quickly, the server was quickly populated. No spammers, no noobs, no *ssholes.. Good times.

2) Who were the GMs back when fiesta first came out?
Were they better than the current ones? In what way?

I remember Dakkon, iceman, and Funtrix. Funtrix got me into this game when I was playing Gunz. Although some of them are gone, I still like the GM community.

3) Did sparkcash take off Immediately?
What were your initial thoughts about sparkcash? Did you get any in the end?

Sparkcash came out at the end of CB2, and everyone got 12500 apiece, to check out the functionality and some items. Lol, my first buy was a scarab. My only buy actually...

4) Whats your favourite class and why?

Hmm, tough one. I'm stuck between cleric and archer, cleric for heals and archer for auto attacks.

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?

No wish, since I don't really play the game anymore... Just don't find it exciting.

When Fiesta first came out...
6) How many maps were there?

I don't remember, however there was no Uruga, that's for sure.

7) What was the first lvl cap?

59.

8) How many servers were there?

Just one - Teva.

9) What was your favourite thing about Fiesta the first time you played it?

People being considerate, and GM events. Plus excitement about discovering new things.

I joined in CB2. I think the game itself went pretty smoothly and the gameplay was pretty straight forward.

2) Who were the GMs back when fiesta first came out?
Were they better than the current ones? In what way?
I only know of GM Steam. I wasn't as into the game so I never really paid attention to GM appearances or events.

3) Did sparkcash take off Immediately?
What were your initial thoughts about sparkcash? Did you get any in the end?

Someone answered already but it "started" at the end of CB as a trial. Initial thoughts was "yay they might have weapons" but that hasn't come out. And I did get SC in the end... still do it about once per month.

4) Whats your favourite class and why?
My favourite class is the Fighter and Archer. I love the fast, evasive types and the classes with high defense.

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?
Aside from reversing the latest level restriction lift on the dungeons/abyss I'd like to see more skills for all classes. I've played the Japanese version and the difference in gameplay is great. Their skills are a lot more party based but will also be able to survive just as well soloing. I'd definitely like to see the DEX stat to be much more effective than it is now. That would open up another door for unique builds. If this wish comes true I'd probably have more fun partying...

The graphics and easy to understand gameplay. I hadn't gotten into the whole community thing at first... but right now that is the biggest plus of the game.
