I have a few questions I would like to ask
 

Ok here's the deal, I'm doing Fiesta as the topic for my homework assignment.
Yes you got it right Fiesta. I need a couple of questions answered by anyone who feels they can answer them.

There is a question and then I ask for opinions which to my teacher would put my thinking up at Extended Abstract level. (thats good) So please feel free to give your opinions about the question or facts coming out of the question. I Will post a picture of the completed project once I finish it.

1) When was the first Fiesta closed beta held?
How'd it go? Did the times suit you? How longed it take for people to get a good grip on the game?

2) Who were the GMs back when fiesta first came out?
Were they better than the current ones? In what way?

3) Did sparkcash take off Immediately?
What were your initial thoughts about sparkcash? Did you get any in the end?

4) Whats your favourite class and why?

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?

Didn't take long to get a good grip of the game. CB went well because it was free of gold spammers and the general community were a lot "smarter", so to speak, haha. Times were great as CB ran 24/7 for a short period of time.

2) Who were the GMs back when fiesta first came out?
Were they better than the current ones? In what way?
Uh. Dakkon.. Steam.. Vanquish.. dschang..? I can't really remember actually. I think they're about the same as current GMs. There were both good and "not-so-good" GMs back then and now, but I can't say for sure since I don't have much contact with them. I'd say they're about the same, and overall pretty good (at least they seem to use time to run lots of events.. don't see that much in other games, I think).

3) Did sparkcash take off Immediately?
What were your initial thoughts about sparkcash? Did you get any in the end?
No, no immediate SC. Though at the end of CB, we received some free SC as a test and we got to purchase some items. The costumes we had back then were cute, too bad we don't have them now. I didn't think much of them as I don't usually purchase cash items in games, but I did buy a little bit in the end later on. =P

4) Whats your favourite class and why?
I think it'll be my cleric, because that was my first main class and I like to feel "important" and "needed", lmao! Plus, it wasn't your average support class where you're weak as well (it's like that in some other games). Clerics can tank and heal, so it's fun. xD

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?
I would hope they reverse all the abyss and dungeon level changes back to the old way, and hope they will bring back the Tell Me dances (or add better ones than Tech tonics). Once my wish has been granted.. uhh, I would wish for more wishes, LOL.

When Fiesta first came out...
6) How many maps were there?
I can't remember, maybe someone else does (answers should be the same anyway).

7) What was the first lvl cap?
Level 59.

8) How many servers were there?
One - Teva.

9) What was your favourite thing about Fiesta the first time you played it?
I liked (and still do) the graphics as I'm into cute things. Dances were always fun and the community was great.

4) Whats your favourite class and why?
Mages ftw! Even though we're extremely squishy we are so powerful xD

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?
Dex being useful such as increasing attack speed and/or reflex rate.
This will make archer all the more pwn~
Also dex build fighters would be amazing too. like a ninja~

9) What was your favorite thing about Fiesta the first time you played it?
The community. The first thing after I got the game was to look for a good guild to join and that was [ocean]. I met lots of awesome people and and a really fun time.

I joined at the beginning of Open Beta, so I was never involved with Closed Beta, or know much about it.

I don't know the GMs in closed beta to compare.

What were your initial thoughts about sparkcash? Did you get any in the end?
Open Beta started in about September 2007, and sparkcash started in about November 2007.

Initially cash shop didn't have a lot of varieties, only 3 sets of costumes, which I found pretty boring. Eventually they started bring out more items, and I bought some spark cash for it.

4) Whats your favourite class and why?
I've played all 4 classes, and I really like them all! Different classes at different levels. If I must pick one - Fighter. I get to be in control of how a party places.

5) If you could wish for one thing in game what would it be?
Why? What would you do once you got the wish?
Make Kingdom quest more interesting. Kingdom quest is quite unique for this game. Play in kingdom quest all the time! LOL

When Fiesta first came out...
6) How many maps were there?
Roumen, Forest of Tide, Sand beach, Forest of Mist, Sea of Greed, Elderine, Moonlight Tomb, Goblin Camp, Vine Tomb, Collapsed Prison, CP1, (CP2?), Uruga, AEW. Level 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x dungeon. There should be about 18 maps if I haven't forgotten any.

7) What was the first lvl cap?

8) How many servers were there?

9) What was your favourite thing about Fiesta the first time you played it?
Cute graphics, and easy interface and gaming nature. Not too many skills, good game for casual playing. Can party with people any levels so you're always joined up with your friends.

Most computer games are competitive. You are playing aginst the computer or another player and the objective is to win/lose. Fiesta is (was) more about working with other players to win/win.

I like mages. I've always been a mage-type of class in each MMO I've played. I like doing a lot of damage, and being a useful part of the party.
