Well now that I think about it, I should probably clarify the 25-32.
I first made an END cleric which I gave up (and was the bane of my existance... now deleted), the second thing I made was mage. Around that time a lot of quests started being "kill large numbers of such and such elite mob", and I didn't like that much.
It also felt to me like a lot of monsters suddenly jumped a lot in hp compared to the monsters just before them, so my soloing ability died horribly, and the novelty of "yay jobchange!" had worn off by then.
Re: Yosei - I'm pure int, but I don't really feel there's such a thing as enough damage. That aside though, I feel that it takes too long to level the licence for a miniscule improvement in damage, when the only relevant part tends to be the critical bonus anyway
