Reasons why Fiesta is going down the drain....and fast

we are apparently still in Open Beta....

We shouldn't be. Firstly they opened the cash shop. People are paying for items and services. This is no longer a beta - and if outspark still thinks it is, then this company is in for a real surprise when they see people rollbacking cash charges.


Aside from that, the higher experience requirements were clearly not designed for our current experience rates. Bright Kingdom and Shine online have the proper experience rates to correspond with the total experience requirements for a level.

However, its not all bad in my opinion. It discourages people, yes, but our money system isn't that great either. We need all the time we can get to save up what little in game currency is made through grinding and miscellaneous activities.

EDIT: after examining fighter weapons: pre-cap-increase patch our weapons used to be stronger. The minimum damage of the next axe was always greater than the maximum of the previous. Some time after the cap-increase we now have reduced weapon damage....

If you're really upset about the game, I encourage you to take a 6 month hiatus. Not only will you be pleasantly surprised when you return at all the new features, but it will give the lower levels a chance to catch up. It would really shake things up... I think the main reason people are feeling disenfranchised is the fact that they've grown too big for the game, and Outspark can't keep up with them.

Its been 7 months of beta, Fiesta has so many more features, and we have none of them D: Maybe we should start a BK discussion in-game. And show screenshots from BK to pressure them ;p kind of like a subtle "Hey I know what you're hiding from me! And it ticks me off" message.

You should post screenshots and list the things they have that we don't. Don't make it bashy though =/ or else its more likely to get closed.

Firstly, anyone will tell you, a passive stance gets you nowhere.

Secondly, I'd prefer to still be able to KQ with the people I know. The truth is, I've seen how disjointed the KQ's are at the lower levels (having characters who can participate in Robo as well as Mara.) I'd rather not be in Spider assault with clerics who refuse to heal, or people who dont know teamwork when you have to do a 28 minute run...

Thirdly, it isn't that outspark is keeping up. You've completely misunderstood my point if that is what your suggesting. They have stripped away what is permanently free on the other versions of fiesta and charged us 3-10 dollars to buy a monthly subscription of the item. They have stretched levels by altering the experience rates.

Long story short, speak up or be treated like trash by outspark. If outspark doesn't recieve a message, nothing ever gets done. If nobody took the time to protest the XTrap, it would still be implemented leaving many players in a rather unfortunate situation - use an unorthodox method to play, or dont play at all...

Your faith i'm afraid is already displaced..
its been 7 months since fiesta started and we've had ONE SMALL UPDATE to gameplay (which came with ALOT of bugs and HASSLES) not considering the cash shop.

If we pay cash shop for a game and a company that supposedly just recieved 11 million dollars in funding, "not being able to keep up with us" is hardly an excuse. BTW i'm 58 out of level 79, so even I haven't caught up leveling wise.

Most games... after going into "Open Beta" will have several significant updates and will become official in the time it's taking Outspark to get out of (with no actual signs of doing so). Not only that but others have weekly maintenance at a set time and schedule. Outspark has been all over the place. Their events schecule can't even be accessed from the front page and there were weeks without them as well. It's not so much the content as it is the people working behind it not making an effort.

Even if they were slow on the updates, as long as they made sure what's out was bug-free then no body would have that much to complain about.

And as Angellic had mentioned, Outspark is charging people items that is free in other version. Sure it costs an arm and a leg to obtain it but it's still bought with IN-GAME money. This includes movers (dragon, raccoon, and donkeys in multitudes of colours) and a beauty shop coupon. The skills implemented is also different. Archers currently have the short end of the stick but in the other versions (or at least Bright Kingdom) I see more Archers than any other class... and they are great. Clerics have multiple attack skills as well as an AOE later in game which does added damage to undeads. Skill descriptions are also different. People playing the NA version is really getting gipped.

i played Beta and thought it was a really promising little game.

i took a break so i could come at the shiny new game with fresh eyes and really appreiciate all the updates and improvements.

oh wow was i dissapointed!

i mean the clicky bar while foraging mushrooms i can live without, but can someone not have correctly labelled the skill scrolls by now? or the weird punctuation marks in some of the early quest texts? i cant believe that such important things that dont seem difficult to deal with have STILL not been fixed.

and the GMs are definately less evident.

on the outspark being sneaky front i did notice that they remove the unscheduelled server failiure notices from the board, but leave the old planned ones up, why? oh wait, because it looks bad you say! why perhaps an apology to replace it? no? wow i feel really valued, thanks

PS. i do feel that they're making it v.hard to play the game without spending money, ive found stuff on there too expensive to buy on a whim.

When i joined a couple months ago it was advertised to me as an open beta game... but the cash shop was already open.
