If it is you, then I have a question.
How is this rare bunch of pixels worth the time lost to get it?

Although I personally do not agree that this "rare" bunch of pixels is worth the time, everyone has their own of way spending and enjoying their time.
True, people may become a bit obsessive compared to others, but if they are taking enough breaks, and that their health is not affected negatively (mentally and physically), then it is really their choice. We can't really question about it. It's just a personal preference, I suppose.

I also agree with Blaaaahs.
How you spend your time, is not others business.
However, I can say it is kind of sad to get too addicted. What can you ever get out of a game? Even if you could win a real-prize or something, you must remember all you are is one of a million that is too reaching for that goal. Out of that million, only one or a few will ultimately reach the top. And then what?
You are left with pixels ;D
EDIT //
agreed with rokaraged =D
Good opinions ;O

But hey, that's the same as lottery. You chuck in your money trying to win a 19 million dollar prize or something, but you know that all you are is one person out of millions of people trying out for that prize. And only one will win the jackpot, so, what will you be left? You'll be left with $2 less in your wallet. xD
Things are like that, you can't always gain something for everything you do. If the person doesn't mind losing time to something that they know is near impossible, then let it be. Just as long as they don't become unhealthy from it, I don't really see what's wrong...

I think there's another important point here... WoW or Fiesta or any other game are NOT to blame. Just like in a drunk driving accident or barfight, the alcohol is completely innocent. It is the INDIVIDUAL who performed the act, or committed the crime. Classic case of shifting blame to something/somebody else because nobody is responsible for their own actions. I know there's the "temporary insanity" plea, but I'm a flier not a lawyer. Are there any law students here to weigh in on this? Is it really the game's fault?

imho the most important think is that people don't forget there life over computer games. The rest is just secondary.

I would say from being a more intellectual person than most, holding a college degree and such that from my knowledge of the law (a bit, but not a law student).
A MMO could not be held responsible for someone's actions taken outside of the game.
The person could however plead he was addicted to the video game which he believes caused him to do whatever act. I've heard of stories where people are able to say they are addicted to the weirdest things.
You know at least in my state. You can become eligible for welfare for saying you are addicted to alcohol. Tell me that isn't kinda....wrong.... lol
And for the others, I'm hardcore, but I am not killing no one over a game lol, atleast I can say to myself and know myself enough to say, It's still only a game. Just something I'm interested in racing for. And honestly, if I thought I even had the slightest chance of losing, I wouldn't be racing.
