They both are. Except DoTA is the outdated version. There's currently 2 real DoTA successors, HoN and LoL.


LoL is quite a bit different from DoTA, heard HoN described as DoTA with updated graphics. You have to pay for HoN, LoL is free. Same 'genres', different in their own rights.

omGGGGGGGG me and frozen just played the most epic game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! STORYTIME!!!

The game looked pretty bad for our team for most part. Both top and bot lanes were being pushed to our towers, and I was tower hugging too cos of zilean. Then they killed more towers than we did and we died a lot in the process. Most of our lane towers were down and they even got baron, and we got owned again.

BUT SUDDENLY!!! We pwned in one teamfight and things changed!!! THE ENDING WAS EVEN MORE EPIC!! We were hanging around base and they were hovering outside the base. We got into a fight and I PROUDLY shot zilean with my ult so he can't ult (tho that wasn't a big part of the fight) and then he died and we started chasing the rest up the lane!!

THEN SUDDENLY!! I saw that shaco was bdooring at our base!! One of our inner turrets were already down, and by the time I tped back to the tower, he killed the last inner turret!! But the turret killed him too lulz. IN THE MEANTIME!! Frozen and tryn was still chasing those heroes up the lane, and soraka and kass fell behind cos they were gonna come back to the base to defend. But since shaco died, we were like RUNNING RUNNING RUNNING UP MID LANE TRYING TO CATCH UP!! omggg I swear it made me think of rose cos I felt that we were running tooo slowww! TIME IS SHORT YOU KNOW!! but frozen and tryn managed to pwn whoever they were chasing. HOWEVER!! TRYN DIED from something and frozen was on low health too!! but our soraka was really good and healed and healed.

BUT when we were whacking away at the towers desperately, ALLISTAR SPAWNED BACK!! AND I WAS THINKING OH SHII THEY'RE BACK ALREADY!! but we ended up killing him HAHA and then WE KEPT WHACKING THE INNER TURRETS WHEN ZILEAN CAME BACK! I got so hyped up that I completely missed my ulti on him!!! but he retreated back to base and while that happened their nexus went downnnn.

The other team was even like "gg" when shaco bdoored us. YEAHH GG U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woooo there you go, a detailed account. I wish we could save replays, or I would upload it and make you all sit there and watch it.



LOL we killed 4 less turrets than them!
