Help

I've had a cold for the past couple of weeks and about half way through yesterday by throat got really sore suddenly and I lost my hearing in my right ear.
And Today my sore throat varies at time (which I understand) but I still have no hearing whatsoever in my right ear.
This has never happened to me before and is begining to freak me out.
Just wanted to know if this has happened to any of you or if I'm gunna be deaf. Woo.

Had the same. I just used ear cottons. And went to the doctor to check, He gave me few stuffs for like 2 weeks. x_x

You will be fine. Just go see a dr.

Bah. My Parents wont take me to see the doctor as my mother thinks she knows more about medicine than someone with a medical degree, she says it's just my glands in my neck swelling and putting pressure on the ear.

I remember the day before winter break my right ear suddenly starting hurting a lot. I had to miss school because it was hurting that much. I just stayed in bed the whole day and I would hear a lil like.. screechign sound or something out of it. It eventually got better after a week. You should try getting ear drops, that's what I did. I'm not sure if it really helped or not.

I would think that you've got a throat infection (which does not seem surprising that it will effect your ears)...

A dose of antibiotics should probably clear you up... but you need to go to the docs for those....

The fact that I'm on Immune-suppresants, Anti-inflamatory drugs and something to stop heartburn due to my disease might also be affecting this...
Last night it got really bad and I had to take painkillers just to sleep, but this morning it seems ot have gone down, although It's affecting my left ear aswell now,
I'm fairly sure it's something blocking the pressure inside my ear from relieving itself, hence causing the pain. Once my cold goes Im fairly sure it'll get better now...
(Everything sounds like it does when you go to land on an airplane and your waiting for your ears to pop.)
