I download videos, movies and such onto my laptop. I don't like watching it on the small(ish) screen however. TVersity is a program that lets me stream the videos over a wired or wireless connection to any UPnP(?) enabled device.
What I do basically is dl media onto my laptop then stream it to my UPnP device (my PS3) and then watch it on the connected flat-screen HDMI tv *__*
Since a PS3 is
very limited in the video/audio formats and codecs it can play, TVersity automatically converts it to codecs that the PS3 can recognise. Doesn't have to be a PS3, there's support for other UPnP-enabled devices like the XBox and other compatible media-storage devices.
Can't bear watching on the laptop anymore.
