Personally, im an Anarcho-socialist. But this isnt the kind of economy in which we should be doing this kind of thing. as soon as we get some more cash, we should DEFINITELY do it, (The Military gets it, and it works excellently there), but not till then.
The majority used to support it, but now the majority oppose it:

This was the most recent poll I found. A lot of the earlier polls suggest that people were in support of the new health care bill, but I guess you can only lie so much before people decide to wisen up. Anyway, why would someone continually want to push a bill that most people are clearly not in support of? Not only that, but every time he is asked about the bill he never states the pros of it, instead he resorts to more republican/Bush bashing. We get it - Bush was a terrible president, but I don't want to know of his past failures, I want to know what you are going to do with our future.

Also, I was watching Huckabee earlier and some lady sent in email that was saying the new healthcare plan, no matter when it was approved, would only go into effect after he leaves office in 2013. Not sure if that's true, but why would he want to do it now without any debate when in 3 years he can have a much more thought out plan?

So basically we have this guy who thinks he knows what's best for us even though the majority oppose it. I want a President, not a father.

Nice way of putting it... however, sadly, the political system works so we elect someone and then get no voice in the matter. they're SUPPOSED To be a reflection of what we want, according to our foundation, but the last 9 years, (And i suspect 12 years by the end of the term), And perhaps since the 60's, even, that hasnt been true.

I just watched the video. Just a quick question, is YouTube owned by the Federal Government? I can't recall that taking place.

The First Amendment covers repression of free speech BY THE GOVERNMENT. Period. YouTube is a private company. They are beholden to their shareholders or owners, depending on the type of structure. If they wanted to shut down a channel for any reason at all, they can. Hell, if they wanted to only post videos by white people, they could. They are not an arm of the government.

And before someone throws it out, the Civil Rights Act doesn't cover the internet as far as "public accommodations" are concerned.
