Because the government can't tell me what to do with my life. If I drink and don't drive, how does that affect people around me? If I smoke in private, how does it affect anybody? It should be legalised and regulated as Hrae said.

I was just pointing out that either extreme could be taken, it's not that im for the illegalization.
