It can't be helped. Most people who's good at making money in game knows that bidding > putting up a price. As a seller one fears the fact that he/she might sell below market price while as a buyer one fears the fact that he/she might overpay. Just paranoia brought by the general inflation itself imo. =D Btw, 700s for a good pair isn't overpricing anymore. I sold a level 48 cleric pants for 800s.

Well, that still means they should be telling people WHAT they want. A simple "I am bidding these pants, here is what I want as a starting point etcetc" isn't that hard, at all. Just telling me "give me your max offer" then saying "no" every time doesn't help.

It's like all those stupid people who make threads on bidding items. I think a lot of those threads don't even follow up.
