Language servers?
So yeah... recently its been kind of bugging me how often I run into people on Fiesta who cannot speak English... at all. And if they do, they can't even understand you, or the sentence they manage to get out looks like they learned it from Google translate.
I have nothing against speaking other languages in-game, this is not the debate on speaking other languages in-game, but about the ability to speak okay/decent/good English. Nor is it an attack or complaint against certain languages and those who speak it.
I was in a KQ, we were almost done, and then everyone dropped dead. Why? Because my cleric decided to go solo the boss on his own, not healing me, the main tank, I died... they died, he died, fail. Everyone was yelling at him, demanding he rez, etc. Turns out he didn't speak English. He started going on in spanish. I'm sure he didn't understand us.
Then I'm sure everyones gone through this or similar situations:
"plz invite guild"
"we're not recruiting"
"u master?"
"no"
"u admin?"
"yes"
"plz invite guild"
"did you not hear me?"
"plz invite guild"
"no.."
"plz"
I noticed a good chunk of the in-game community speaks spanish fluently or as a native language. Its the 2nd most common language in the game. I've also noticed I run into a lot of spanish speaking players who do not speak English well... or at all. Sure... we can ignore it, if they bug us enough we can block them, but it does effect our game play at some point, and it can become a nuisance. You shouldn't have to block someone for speaking another language. But also... we shouldn't have to just put up with it because someone in a KQ is ruinning it because they don't speak the default language of the game.
From what I hear, the Gamigo version of Fiesta has servers for multiple languages. With Bright Kingdom, the Japanese version, they ban you if you cannot speak Japanese. Why? That means you do not understand Japanese, and then that means you did not understand and truly agree to their ToS.
I personally think since this is the North American version of Fiesta, this also includes Mexico, and the Americans whom speak Spanish. Therefore I think there should be a Spanish/Mexico/Espanol server. Sure, there aren't a terrible amount of users who speak just Spanish, but I'm sure there are users on the game who speak English, but Spanish as a native language, and would prefer to speak their native language. But then again... that'd probably require a spanish forum, then spanish speaking CLs, GMs, etc. And a spanish translation of the game.
What do you guys think about this?

Hmm it's a good idea but it'd need alot of work.
One thing I also hate is something like this:
"Party plz?"
"Sorry, full"
"But I need quest item"
"sorry"
Then he swears at me in spanish, thinking I don't know what that word means.
I've watched anough 'Dexter' to understand what Puta means ¬¬

Well thats more of people choosing to speak another language when they can very well speak English. I'm talking about those whom cannot speak English at all or well enough to communicate.

Well in all i don't think there's much OS can do about it, it'll cost alot of money to make a new server, translate it all, hire GL/GMs etc. and you know how Outspark Love their cash

Wll gamigo's 4th language will be spanish but it will take about half a year I think(theyr busy with french now).
Also the majority of spanish only speaking people on US fiesta are most likely south american for which OS technically spoken hasnt got a license so it is doubtfull they will get a spanish server without paying a big amount for the license.

Spanish doesn't bother me as much as one of the Philipino languages does. Uruga shout chat used to be full of that stuff. I don't go onto the Asian servers and speak in English. Some common courtesy would be nice.

No offense but on many occastions english people dont have it either.
Also thats OS's fault, philipino have their own servers outspark just hosted to them while they didnt have license for it.
And MOST likely OS did not inform the already registered filipino players that there is another company out there hosting it for them cause else OS would lose money, we know how they did i with the EU version now dont we?
Remove everything that was said about it.

I think it also bothered me a bit because I think they were just doing it to attention whore. "Oh, look at me, I can say things you can't understand!" They could just as well have whispered each other or used party chat. On the other hand, I do get irritated when two or three people have their own little "private" conversation on shout, too, even if it's in English. It's not just a language thing.

Oh yeah, some people give way too much information... some times shout in Eld/Uruga/BR is just horrible I have to turn off shout.
But if they had the means it would probably be beneficial to have as many languages like Gamigo. Those who want to play but cannot understand the game isn't going to enjoy it much. They might not know how to play... can't exactly ask questions and only see that people seem to be very very angry at them. .__.
