Then just don't use it... you just said you have more than enough SP stones and/or pots to recover. If one is worried about HP then carry pots or always have a cleric around. Other games have mages that can use healing powers but this is Fiesta.

Yeah I understand what you mean, I'm merely saying that it is useless and should be taken out for something a more useful. Point taken though.

WHAT!?!?!?!? Fighters actually have that skill? Why can't they do that during kqs?
Anyways I hated life tap (aka steak tap) especially when a mage gets aggroed, is missing like 100 sp with only 400 hp and decides to steak tap himself.
Though the reverse would be useful then that would mean no more cleric mage duo

Hey, i've had this idea for a long time...give me your opinion... Instead of Life Tap that can only be used for yourself, why not make it a kind of sp heal? You lose hp to heal a pt member or something, I know that clerics/fighters lose tons of sp. It would actually be useful then (since when you party w/ clerics/fighters, often you are not taking the damage :P)

Now there's a good idea. A mage spell that helps out the party's SP....I like it. Everybody would benefit from this, as everyone's SP compared to mage is mediocre. Excellent point.
