The problem is, the enemies will be in your face by this time, and if your AOE'ing (which you should be by this point) your need faster magic spells that effect more than one enemy at a time. No argument with max damage on Fire Ball, the spell is bananas. But spamming keeps you alive in between blasts. I guess it really depends on the play style, point taken. Just remember to take the points off of Fire Bolt (cooldown not damage if you want two nasty fire spells take your pick) when you cop this spell. I guess I'm trying to do the most damage area wise than one enemy.
