I suppose so... I'm learning colour correction and whatnot in class right now. It's amazing how a little nudge on the bar could change the picture drastically.
Just keep switching the bars left and right and see which direction lightens, darkens, or saturates the picture. That way, you'll remember which direction to nudge the little bar when you're correcting a picture.
A couple of my photos have had quite drastic colour corrections.
oh waoh... excuse my noobness... i'm totally hopeless in arts so i've never really done any...
so do you correct the picture on the computer after you've taken the photo? Or you use your camera settings to do colour correction?

I don't want to see it!
okay...
Yeah, I never actually thought about color correcting and whatnot cause I usually work with anime/in-game pictures. xD
A little off-topic but I want that cactus. I can never find a nice looking one.
We were lucky to have gotten that cactus at Walmart (cheap too! $5).
We were about to to pick another cactus with an exotic shape, but my mom like this cactus' colours.

Usually, you correct the picture on the computer.
There are also cameras with settings you can tick to improve photo shoot quality (the professional DLSR cameras).
