I remember seeing a screenshot of an AOE cleric attack. Purple pillars or something shot out of the ground....It looked EPIC

Maybe you should send that suggestion to one of the programmers and explain it like that because seems like thats something you could argue and possibly get in to game for the next cap.

I think its a good idea. 'Holy' might not be the name of it. But seems like if they were going to add some sort of attack, a cleric should obtain some kind of attack that adds a status effect. And that seems like the most likely one considering the type of character a cleric is.
