yeah gold hill KQ has gotten bad
I never had problems with it on my mage but now I'm getting a 50% fail chance
either fighters don't tank so the key isn't found/everyone dies off
or pretty much everyone goes to try tank marlone......

Only KQs I remember failing are the ones where the key goes to an afk or noone picks up the key that they found and just runs to the gate -.-

This is another part of why Lady_Loki, my cleric, went on hiatus.

I did pull her out between the last two patches because lag was so horrible that Spirit & I decided to get our mules to L2 and stop the "instruction" box from popping up every time we log one on and we were just inside the Sand Beach portal so while I would wait on Spirit to change to a different mule I would give the lower levels coming through the portal a T2 buff (kinda felt good to make their day for them) but every now and again I would buff one who would immediately say "heal" to which I replied "I buff - you shroom" and I never did throw heal on them.

But yeah, there are way too many people out there who are rude and inconsiderate towards clerics and mages using life-tap in parties or KQ's rank among the top.

Personally, I think everyone should have to play cleric to L60 and do that job change before they can create any other classes (not really since that sounds better in theory than application).

am I not suppose to life-tap in KQs?
I burn my sp really fast but I only do it in between fights when safe
and I'd generally either shroom afterwards if not moving, stone/pot mobs coming up, or just leave it while traveling around the map.

being a cleric is hard
you have to heal, run, and rev all at the same time x(
I hate it when people spam rev while they're dead when clerics are busy trying to keep the tank alive.
People in Robo are extremely rude also. They flame clerics for not rev'ing and focusing on them when they are busy rev'ing others and there's a 30 second cooldown on revive or busy running.

I'm gonna quote this too because I have just recently finished the job change and it is horrible as a cleric. At least all the other classes have some sort of AOE skill. With a cleric since you can't heal them you can't do anything but attack each separate enemy until they are all attacking you!! So yeah I definitely agree everyone should have to go through that because until you experience that you have no idea what its like.

And as a side note:
I don't think it is fair to use life-tap all the time as a mage for a cleric to heal you. So apparently a cleric has to use stones all the time just to keep your lives up when a mage could just use a stone him/herself for the same purpose?? Doesn't seem very fair to me. Every once in awhile is ok, but a mage should at least be considerate enough to use a stone every once in awhile instead of always relying on the cleric 'to take care of him/her'.
When someone will completely rely on someone else(such as a cleric) to keep them alive and will complain when they die because they are too proud to use a stone themselves and rather die and blame it on someone else then I don't believe that is a very good player... And it seems with the mage you encounters that seems to be the case

ok yes i do sometimes shout heal but thats generally cause im a tank and might be in a bad party :| which in all honesty does happen, plus its only with large amounts of mobs i happily stone
So yea sometimes clerics arnt what they should be, but from the sounds of it you did great
