Good fighters will learn to pot/stone when they see their lives getting dangerously low. You may argue that it's a cleric's job to heal, but we cant expect u to keep all the aggro off dders, then u shouldnt expect us to be able to heal u 100% of the time.

Sometimes 1 stone can save many lives.

My fighter does that. Does that mean he is good? Though I do agree with you that there are less fighters that do that and the rare ones that do are more generally accepted in parties.

Well, come to think about it, the pot thing should apply to all classes. But I made a bigger emphasis on fighters because:

1) Archers/Mage have little defence/HP so if something hits them, they die fast, no reaction time for themselves or clerics to heal them.

2) Fighters have lot more defence/HP which gives fighters a longer time to go "Oh i'm dying, better heal".

A lot of fighters rely on the clerics to heal them... and doesnt even bother looking at their own HP. Which is fair, but its still nice when the fighter takes a bit of responsibility in their HP... there are sometimes casting gaps, which 1 stone could make a lot of difference.

Healing KKP right before maitnence it was so hard cuz Zerack
kinda refused to heal the Main tank so i was healing my pt...
the main tank, and rez'ing 8439587 people inbetween and then we almost
failed when 8457 monsters went on me and i couldnt heal ppl.
Traffic and tempest went down miraculous amount of times and i
finally realised how difficult a clerics job actually is. We ended up suceeded
but with ppl on the ground....

yeah KKP can get out of hand when "power up" mobs leech onto mage/archer... and they die and runs after the clerics...

i often run in circle trying to keep myself alive.... and heal others if i have a chance in between... ultimately i try to keep myself alive, then the tank alive...

Yet another day of bad tanks ._. I was in a party with 3 fighters and a cleric. I still ended up aggroing like heck.

Ironically, you'd be surprised at how much MORE aggro our heal draws, compare to a fighter's kick, mock..

its worse in abyss...

And just the other day, i was in Spider KQ, and had 2 grave robber was hitting me, which it prevents me from healing my party properly... i ran around in circle healing myself and yelling at Kev "GET IT OFF ME, GET IT OFF ME" he chased after me, mock and kick... but it wont come off LOL

I dunno wat level u are yet, but Recover is a massive aggro drawer too...

its ashame the aggro doesnt work as well when we did our lvl 60 job change quest...

I'm aware of that. But I was paying attention to them, I never saw kick or mock. Somtimes I'd aggro after one heal, and none of them would mock or kick to try to get it back, just keep attacking.

I can tell I'ma be a bossy/mean cleric. I had to direct them through killing GGK. One of them didn't even know what the word "aggro" was.

Me: Since he one hits you guys, just sit back and wait til my heal aggro's the imps then hurry and get them off of me.
Fighter: whats aggro?
Me: When a monster attacks or turns on you...

I like being a tank. I love to run into robo with t3 stuff and 800 def and take EVERYTHING and still survive with stones. I usually stone because I don't trust clerics these days; so unreliable!

When I was partied with the main tank in KKP I usually found myself pulling either Mara or Marlone or Both. If I only pulled one of them id attack the other until I got it on me then take it out of everyones way then suicide and run.

You would be suprised at the stupidity I run into while doing this. No other fighter want to do mob control and I see clerics frequently doing it.

But the icing on the cake is when I do mob control on Mara and Marlone I pull them away to safety. Only then I get a fighter trying to do MC I suicide. The fighter thinks ok the cleric has it under control and he/she runs back to the group not knowing he just got Mara and Marlone on him/her and plows them right into the whole KQ group

how do u go MC mara/marlone when u're also suppose to be healing the main tank @_@

is there a mastery that i dont know about yet?
