I'll try to clarify.

... So whomever has the best connection and computer wins? xD Events are by far the biggest waste of time due to the amount of lag it produces. Not to mention the "GMs FIX TEH LAGZ" shouts.

It's a different category each week. So like, next week could be MVP for most helpful posts etc.

How are people supposed to know who attended what event?

GMs know who are the active event attendees.

This event is just as bad is the Legend of Isya Event..

This event is intended to show our appreciation to all if our loyal users in different aspects of our service. You don't have to spend money to be an MVP, you don't even have to be an active Fiesta player in some future cases. We want you, the user to know we notice you.

This is a perfect example of no matter how well intended an event is, you just can't make everyone happy or someone just has to find a way to turn a good thing into something negative.

It's comments like these that make the GMs feel like their work goes unappreciated.
