@Hessah: If you want you can switch to each mob and Bash them each once. So they've taken the damage and is rightfully yours in any circumstances (through aggro AND damage dealt). :P

Rule of thumb, if the person isn't sparkling red and obviously heading towards the gate... don't touch their mob.

I basically amalgamated my idea of KS'ing to this:

If either side has no damage done and they are already attacking something else then it's rightly yours.

I.E. If they haven't damaged it, and it hasn't damaged them then it's yours. The only way it wouldn't be yours is if they are not attacking something else and are ready to attack the new agro.

Me, I LOVE to argue. So when a fighter kicks my mobs after ive hit it
and im kiting ill argue, then get on zukiz, war there guild and have nakama
beat down on them for a good while.

keke yeah well... its actually really time consuming to flick through each mob and hit it once... because of the animation lag...

and i would think if i've got a few mobs on me... i would be too busy trying to kill quickly and heal... to do tab and find the next mob to do 1 hit on...

i was hoping that my definition of KS will not get me into some button bashing problems LOL!

Yeah, the idea of individually "marking" a monster when you have a group on you is time consuming and shouldn't need to be done. If I have aggro, its mine. Period.

We cannot CHOOSE which mob we want to attack if they're bunched up together.... more than often we aggro them in a small group, coz there's no choice...

we have to learn how mobs detect aggro... and run into them, gather a small group and out to safety and kill them off 1 by 1....

Picture this..

I have 3 orcs hitting me..

all 3 of them doing 100 dmg each, so as I try to kill the first one... i have an extra 200 dmg hitting me...

Here comes someone else, taking one of my mob.. i've used lotsa SP to heal those many lots of 200 dmg on me, and here you are, taking it off me "coz you're not hitting it"...

I dont see how it's "not mine" coz "its not hitting me"...

I'm losing HP and SP over this mob... I believe I have every right to be the one to kill it

So... most definitions of KS are unruly toward Clerics. D<
We need AoE skill. Lawl, at lv. 34ish, I thought Trip & Bleed where AoE skills. xD

Well how about this. Im doing the King Mushroom Spore quest and as i get to a spot a cleric runs into the a group of orcs and mushrooms. I take one, he has 3 others in the mob. Then they say I Ks, even when i took it from one hit....So i guess I can never finish the quest casue Clerics can take all the best spots and run into the mobs and say it was theirs...

Agro != Yours. You don't get XP from agro, you get it from damage.

Eh, good point. The topic slides both ways... we could go on forever naming the different factors.

Arent you an archer?

Your bow's range is far greater than mob's aggro range. i.e. If you and a cleric stood in the same distance from a King Mushrooms, you can shoot the King Mushroom, before the cleric could get close enough to get aggro.

Also, Mobs has idle time too, when they spawn, they don't detect aggro for 3 sec. You've got 3 seconds to shoot the king mushroom, before the aggro belongs to the cleric...

If you're fighting for a spot, it all comes down to who's quicker... Your range should give you advantage over a cleric... (omg how many times hv i had mage/archer taking a mob that i wanted to get, coz my stubby legs are too slow...)
