European IP-Ban

In a way... as a consumer's point of view.. i wish they'd just leave the IP open for both regions...

If we, as players, can choose to play either server, it gives the two companies competition to keep players and hence, improve the game!

But.. yeah.. companies hates competition... so i guess it's natrual for them to try and monopolise (if that's a word) the region...

and i hope they dont hv a SEA region of Fiesta~ as it is, i thought the population for this game isnt THAT great to have so many servers around the world~

"Because Euro license came AFTER the US license, so i'm not surprised Euro had to ban IP where a license already existed (just like how outspark banned China/Jap/Korean/Hong Kong IP soon after OB)

I agree with your point, but for a different reason.

I really enjoy the diversity and hearing friends talk about their countries, as long as when it's not all in Spanish!

Despite this I'm placing my bets on European IPs being completely banned anyway, simply for the fact that it'd be stupid to let your competitor take advantage of you (from Gamigo's perspective). Also whether to ban Euro IP or not is not within Outspark's jurisdiction anymore.

Grrrrr..... German site banned meh as well =.=; but the English site is still up and running, however on that site now even the game download link exist yet.

I'm going to sneak in with Russian IP. XD

Hm... and they haven't banned Canadian IP since I can see it but like Hessah, can't read. Even if half the people are from Europe it was bound to happen sooner or later as the game becomes more popular. Everyone wants in on the cash.

they could try doing what i think gametribe did/tried to do with infinity. let the european accounts that were already created here stay and be able to log into the game but not let any european accounts be created after that. would also probably need a check at login if it's a european ip to see when the account was made.

Yeah I hope it works like this too, so nobody really gets any disadvantage of it...as in...from a consumer's view...

That wouldn't work for me

I have a Dynamic IP, so while my IP address will always be from the UK, it will not be the same every time I go online. They shouldn't need to check the IP for when the account was made, just the email address.
