LOL!!! well i have none of the knowledge... (maybe a little bit of html but not enough to help...)

but i can see that you guys will potentially get a team together and everyone contribute their expertise into this!

(A bit like our wiki, some ppl gather info, others do the coding)

It would be awesome if this went ahead, coz all the other igoogle themes are boring LOL!

Hm... so how about the "creative ones" draw up the images and you put em together? Lol

I think a guild theme would be great too. xD

yeah...i was actually thinking along these lines last night...
I've never done one, but shouldn't take too much time. Maybe I can make a documented template or something and post the code here...

I can let you know images sizes and we can all discuss ideas here...coz one neat feature is that the theme can change based on time of day or weather in your area!!!

also, wont be this weekend (wife's birthday) but I'll prolly start working with it the next.

lol...its a customize your own Google stuff

iGoogle is a module/gadget-based portal for people with Google Accounts (a gmail address). For example, I have a movies module, and local weather, customized news etc...its sorta like myYahoo, but it's iGoogle

I don't use yahoo so i don't know if the have this customizable theme feature, but basically you can also choose different "skins" to change the look-and-feel of your iGoogle portal. I was simply suggesting a Fiesta or FeestaFan-based skin or maybe a couple of them.
