Put yourselves in the shoes of someone first starting the game. First thing you see is a relatively dead starter town (depending on which server you are) and then is the flood of messages from the spam-bots. You likely don't know about the block function so you attempt to use the in-game report button. You send off the report like a conscientious player and stare at the 'Reporting' message on-screen for 30 minutes. You quickly come to the realization that it doesn't do jack. You plunge ahead and get started on quests. Then get disconnected.

and thats the main reason i cant get my old friends comming over to fiesta. If u start in roumen, its like hell on earth, with all that scam shops and gold sellers.

It did it again, twice, and this time I just left it without trying to stop and it took me all the way to J0.

When I relogged I was in Roumen >.<

Yay a fix! Finally maybe i can actually aoe correctly. I dont know if anyone else was having troulbe timing their skills, but it was hard for me...

Add new costumes and stuff outspark..pls

I would hate it if that happened to me but I couldn't stop laughing after reading that.

For fun and giggles, I reinstalled Fiesta and got a new character to level 20 on Teva. A nightmare most of the way. Spammers seem to have increased their spam-speed (?) and I lvled so fast because of the new quests I couldn't do much of anything. Dunno if that's a good thing or not. I tried playing with the mind of a new player so I went and checked out the in-game faq which really needs to be improved. Heck, a lotta people here can make a better one, though it was a improvement over the first blatantly wrong one. KQs were as big of a gamble as ever, they really should implement a real tutorial like other games to show people how to do stuff. Consistently out of 6 KQs, there were at least 3 leechers in every one, there really needs to be penalties for this.

I checked out the quests and leveled like a madman. The quests that disconnect you though are a serious ****. The buggy animations and general weirdness gives a whole half-done feel to everything though they'll likely iron that out in the future. Trying to play from the experience of someone new to the game, it wasn't very good at all.

^ Ouch. Ever gonna try forwarding your input to someone important at the officials? o: I think that's a pretty useful feedback for them. A lot of people might say they will ignore you but if you type properly, I'm sure they'd at least read it.

Just as confirmation, about 3-4 weeks ago I had recommended to a friend to try Fiesta as he had recently quit WoW due to cost. I told him up front it was more anime-ish and not as "deep" as WoW, but free was good, and that I had fun with it.

We got together this weekend only to find out he had only gotten around to downloading the client *after* the latest patch and he seriously thought I was just pulling a prank on him. He said he tried playing as both a Mage and a Fighter and commented on the buggy/twitchy animations, and he also got very frustrated by the "tutorial" not leading him through many things. And he never got to do even 1 KQ. His overall impression was this was a half-done game that "had potential" if they ever fixed it
