I've learned that by cancelling perty invites, they get to spam more, so it's better to let the invite be til it goes away. Wash and repeat.

Bad rumors? Wow, they haven't seen AikenRae's ugly side...yet. (and no, i'm not referring to the view of level 38 archer pants from behind) :P

Just tell them point-blank that you're not their personal power-level service and to get off their butts and play the game for themselves.

If they ask nicely, I might party them for a bit, but when they are too lazy to spell 'please' or 'party' properly using all the letters I just ignore them, and...

I was soloing junior archons one day in uruga for my quest and a Lv 3x Cleric came and asked to party me, I thought, oh yeah, she will be able to help heal me. But she kept going afk and then told me she had to go to school, but then went afk again for ages (so I thought WTH?? she's gone?! Leaving me to plvl her??) and because she was resting at the bridge (stupid place to rest) u will expect mobs going passed! So I left her messages like "I have to go", "come back now or I will leave u here" "sorry if u die" blah blah...

Ehh.. I left her there and never looked back!! LOL ... I am learning not to be so nice MUAHAHA

back when i was lvl 30-40ish... we had a party in Uruga.. our great guildy tank had to go, so our squishy party didnt hv a tank..

this fighter came up and asked if he could party with us, usually we dont party strangers, but we needed a fighter anyway so we gave it ago..

1. he doesnt kick/mock
2. our tarcher was the "tank" anyway
3. He said brb... and shroomed... right on our grinding spot...

so after 5 mins and he's still not back, we banned him from the party, moved spots... and found him dead after 5 mins...

GOD it was GOOOOOOD seeing him kissing the ground!

oh, before I was busy, this lv1 archer was in MT, and whispered me and asked if I can get him to Lv5. So I whispered back "Go kill Slimes, it'll be really fast" then he told me something like "no, i couldn't even kill one, the slimes kills me" then I was think to myself "idiots that make up sh........t..fine..i'll be nice and 'help'". So I invited him, and he said "Let me go afk while you level me" and just left, and I replied "Ok" and quit pt and he got instant killed. Then 2 hours or so later..he came back from afk and whispered me and asked me why I let him die and didn't heal me and left him to die. I replied that I was busy helping my mom out in the kitchen and I told him I am not a cleric and can't heal. He replied saying something like "your lying, your cleric and you don't have a mom, you are 40" then I blocked him for being a Lv1 idiot that asks for plvl.

Err, good enough but best thing you could've done was reject, or quit right away. Anyways you're doing good, I'm proud of you =D

Now I'll have no worries leaving NATURAL knowing you wouldn't be much of a push over =P just kidding but yeah...

They send pt invite, you reject, they start KSing...

That happened to me just an hour ago in LS1, when I was killing Jewel Grave Robbers. Party of 4, picking on a solo fighter questing, have they no shame? I'll slice their balls off.

K. Level 30 mage will plvl you. Let's party and train at the high levelled places to get more exp.

for such reason i have a simple rule set:

-afking without reason : kick after 5min, spot saved for 30min
-afking with reason : kick after 10min, spot saved until he is back.
-logging out without reason : spot saved 30min
-loggin off, but said he comes back: spot saved until back (max 2hs)

this sounds soooo familiar........ *hovers mouse pointer over guildie's name, right clicks "Ban"* Oh crap. She's admin too >_>

I mean sheesh. She's a cleric, I'm an archer. I may be a few levels ahead of her (5 levels to be exact) but she makes it MY responsibility to power level her. She demands, yes, deamnds, to be in any 4x-6x guildie's party, fetch her, help her with her quest, let her borrow silvers, buy this for her because she doesn't have money at the moment. UBER CRAP!! I worked my ass off by grinding through levels, rarely ask my 7x mage friend (IRL friend, at that) to power level me, NEVER ask for silvers from anyone, loans doesnt work for me either because I might not be able to pay on time and such, the list goes on!

I don't mind helping but what ticked me off was when she said "Do your quests later, help me with mine first!!" and "Hurry up! What's taking you so long to get to me. Stop dilly dallying over there and help me!" . For the record I politely told her that I was on my way, on foot, finishing a few mobs along the way for a quest. I'm offering my help for free and all and she demands! DEMANDS!!

Bottomline (as I've posted on our guild's notice board): It is NEVER a highbie's responsibility to power level.

Thats a typical kid of our times. Or in short a kid tyrant.
So must teach that little tyrant that it cant tyrannize u.

If she would do that to me, i would say i wont help her under that conditions. I love to help people, but i wont help because someone demands it!
Also when she demands to be lvled, tell her no. First nicely, and the more she insist the more u make it clear. Once i had to tell a kid over 20times a clear no, before he realised that nagging wont change me decision.


p.s: all i wrote hear my sound hard. But there are extrem cases. And in most cases being more nice would be better.
