Lol yeah it happened me once actually, except that I WAS the only cleric. xD
There was a time when me and a group of people (7 or 8 I think) did the Mara KQ. We had 4 fighters, 2 archers, that poor noobling Mage and my lvl 23 Cleric.
Since the beginning of the KQ he was like, "OMFG! WE'RE SO F***ED!, we'll never make it!"
Then as soon as we were halfway through, lots of people died (good thing I had rez xD) While others couldn't make it... So again, he said "This is just retarded, why do you keep reviving? We're dead.."
But was he dead wrong, I tried my best to show that guy that it's not the quantity of people that matters in a KQ, but the ability to cooperate with each other, endurance and most importantly TEAMWORK that makes a successful KQ.
In the end we managed to survive and prove that idiot wrong. Rofl... it felt so good in a way. 
I really can't stand people who give up so easily just like that, It's never over till it's over so WAKE UP nub! lol seriously....
