funny how people hear a rumor then proceed to proclaim it as the truth, and people believe it.
syl didn't hack spark cash - there were dumb people on the server that started the rumor and believe it and then it spread.
didn't hack sp (not possible) or charge back. just a clarification from someone who knows more about it than people spreading rumors~ >.>

Outspark isn't going to move on rumours. Otherwise he would've gotten banned right off the bat when that video came out. Outspark saw that he did charge back paypal to get items without paying (is that it?) and they had a record of that.
Unless he happens to be still playing with you (from what it seems like) then I suppose it is all just rumours of him getting banned. I think some people know that it is possible to "hack" the cooldown or whatever it may be... that is why they mention it. Whatever it is... people who cheat the game just to gain a "title" ought to be banned.

Where shall we wander?

I hate sometimes, the battles people in forums get into over what can be considered or defined hacking or not...
most lay-people's definition of the word is that of any normal user tampering or editing anything in the game that provides an unfair advantage. dun really care if any code was reverse-engineered or not.
and I've been getting servers mixed up .__.

oops, wrong word usage there :3
Sorry if you were offended, but I hate technicalities like these that almost always come up when someone is discovered 'hacking'.

No I wasn't offended, I think some of the earlier post's were giving these people credit of hacking, when all they did was scam. I agree paypal stinks and outspark should ban the use of paypal! If they lose enough money they can end up shutting down the game which will suck becuase it's a fun game no matter what level your at!
I don't know if people really understand how much it cost's to run a massive game like this and when people try to cheat(in game) and steal(real life) from a game maker that has offered a free game to everyone is sad

Oh, they were not referring to the paypal as hacking. They wee referring to the altering of Fiesta files to change cooldown times as hacking.
EDIT: also, I found were I posted this in another thread a while back.
"Hacker has several common meanings, the unifying characteristic of which is only that it refers to a person who is an avid computer enthusiast. It is most commonly used as a pejorative by the mass media to refer to a person who engages in illegal computer trespass remotely via some sort of communications network (i.e. the Internet, a LAN or a dial-up network), its original meaning referred to an unauthorized user of the telephone company network (now called a Phreaker) but it can also refer to people engaged in ethical computer hacking (i.e. debugging or improving software functionality), to the members of the open source and free software community, or to home computer hobbyists."
It is a more commonly used phrase than what it started out as and has new meanings also.
