I think all accents and dialects have their own quirks. My friends from English used to bug me about how Americans don't pronounce their T's correctly. Like little. We pronounce like "liddle", my name is Katie but people say it like Kadie.
Then again I can recall knowing English people who didn't even put anything where a T was supposed to be. Little become Li'le.
We're all guilty!
