Potions or stones - which should you use first?

It depends really. Since I have potion making, I use potions first. So I don't have to spend as much money on stones.

Me too, but y'know it's still costing us money. Even if you make your own since otherwise you'd be selling the materials you use to make the potions. I never bothered trying to figure out which would save me more money, but sometimes I think it would be cheaper to sell everything and just buy from people. Stock up when you come across a good deal.

Anyway, as for HP, I play fairly recklessly for an archer and end up using both up anyway; sometimes as quick as the cooldowns allow for either if I'm in an area a good bit above my level. I don't like resting so I just plow through and while gobbling up stones and pots until I'm empty then head back to town. Not the most economic approach to grinding I guess but it's a lot less boring.

As for SP, that's not generally a big problem for me. I just use whichever. Potion if I actually think about it.
