Well, in my opinion you don't need to add to END through stat placement. You're missing out on the block rate because you don't have a shield. So you can get the same effect through just END equipment.
Therefore, the best build is either 25 SPR rest STR for the 'power build'. You can possibly go full STR as well but it's probably better to have a bit of critical bonus.
Another build that is great during boss runs and KQs is 1:2 DEX:STR or 25 SPR full DEX builds. You will probably need to use an Aim scroll if you do the DEX:STR build if you are going against red monsters (ie. Trumpies at late 40/early 50s). The full DEX build, you don't have to worry about Aim... and you'll be great during PvP as well.
Don't think of DEX as being able to evade a whole lot at this point. Think of it more for being able to hit. Until they change how DEX affects our characters it's best to think this way. Now, if you believe you lack power or defense in anyway... you'll have to look into getting STR and/or END fused equipment/weapons. Even upgrading if you have the means. I carry two STR rings and two END rings... STR for when I party and switch it up to END rings during solos.
