Isn't the point of a protest is to make contact with the ruling public.
as for students... they can do whatever they want. skip or stay. it just a simply matter of how motivated they are

the question is do you really want to annoy the people who might be voting on something you want or will in any way affect the decision? cause it seems to me that protesting in a way that pisses people off would be detrimental to your cause.
