Mages are not easy to level up. Maybe in the beginning but not later on. They don't deal enough damage in my opinion. Most enemies that give even a decent amount of EXP can withstand multiple spells. And we can't take hits well so we've ever gotta rest every other second or spam HP potions/stones.

Really? Because you're describing every character except a mage and a cleric (for the HP part) in the early stages. And its really great that you think mages don't deal enough damage, shows how little you know. Maybe you should try grinding on monsters that are lower level.
