kids these days...
A different thread I was reading made me think of this...
A while back my son...who is 9...asks me “dad, if we didn’t have the grill and the microwave was broken, how would we cook hot dogs?â€
…well, after cleaning the couch due to wetting myself from uncontrollable laughter, I asked him to think about it. After a few minutes of pontification he looks at me quizzically and says with a questioning voice “the toaster?â€
/pictures smoking hot dogs poking out of the top of our toaster
-more uncontrollable laughter-
so I had to explain that "in the old days" we had to boil our hot dogs in water on the stove.
I only wish I could post a picture of the complete and utter look of disbelief on his face...priceless
A co-worker of mine had a similar story about his daughter who was 4 getting frustrated at not being able to "pause the TV" at her friends house (She has had a TIVO her whole life, but her friend was not so advantaged)
Anyone else have similar funny stories of ‘youngins or from their own youth?
